Reno 2004 "Big Bossman" Practice and Qualifying

  • Mike Brown brought his beautiful Grumman F7F-3P Tigercat back to Reno for 2004 and posted a well respected 363 mph qualifying speed.
    Also, later in the week during qualifying, Brian Sanders was preparing for an afternoon flight when unfortunately the right main wheel failed on him as he was turning into the run-up area. Included in the video is the wheel change and taxi back to the ramp with a late evening high power run up with flames coming out of the exhaust stacks.
