Sort of. Government by the English definition existed before. But it wasnt what you would call it today. Before the first persian empire, the acheamedians, it was just king who runs the land and gives certain men under him to run land for him. The persian introduced the idea of a central government which runs administrations under it.

A library in a mall, it says a lot about the mentality of the people and explain why the people are so educated more than most Americans
idk its normal or not , as iranian when i was 8 , my parents sent me to join young-aged libery and i almost read all books there in 3 years. Because of economy challenges people of iran have to know lot of things , people almost know everything!!! i think this side of iran is respectable. As 25 years old , i know electric coding plus little other programings & graphic design plus media-boosting & stock or crypto trading plus how economy works , btw 50% of schools in iran is private , and so many private tutoring and lots of online websites tutoring in all diffrent knowledges.

Make sure to check out the south of the country. Theres a whole world outside of tehran, tabriz, mashhad, and isfahan that travel vloggers rarely show.
They do show it, there are so many travel vlog videos on the south, just search for it.
More such videos about Iran should be made. It's so much people friendly country, less people know

I was in Iran for about 1 and a half years between 2020 and 2021. Best country I've ever visited by far. It is just amazing! I recommend everyone to go there.

When you showed me the mall that you visited, I quite impressed and shocked how beautiful the mall at there. I never knew that there is an incredible library inside there. The Iran mall is not ONE of the biggest malls in the world, it IS THE biggest mall in the world 🌍
My favorite was definitely the tea with saffron. I remembered first time an Iranian friend gave me that and I thought it was a lollipop. Eat it up front and got a good laugh out of my friend. Good times, good times.

It's always been a dream of mine to visit Iran. I'm from the US. I hope our countries relationship will improve - Iran is a much better partner than Saudi Arabia. Its people are much kinder and smarter too.
