This is awesome to read, I’m moving to Cary next week and can’t wait. I thought i was the only one that felt that way. I fell in love with NC before even visiting and when i finally came, my feelings were confirmed, i was in love. My son is all grown up now and i get to take the leap of faith. I can not wait!
Not sure if you ever mentioned having a dog before, but pretty cool to know. 🐕 It's interesting that you brought up California in this video, because I do remember wondering why you chose North Carolina over it. 🤔 After watching this, it now makes a lot of sense. 💡 If California did not make you feel like you could call it home upon visiting it later in life, it won't matter how beautiful those sunny Pacific Ocean views are. 🌞🌊
I think I might have mentioned it in my 25 Facts About Me but I’m not sure lol But yes, NC is much more my speed than CA. I wasn’t ever really considering living near the coast in CA.

My husband is from Philadelphia and he said he will never ever move back to Philly. He’s been here since 2016. North Carolina is a beautiful state. We live near Cary.
It’s a little hard right now because of COVID... Normally I’d suggest going to events and activities you enjoy. There are some networking apps that may be worth a try!
I just relocated to Raleigh, But I'm still getting used to people driving fast, I seen a lot of car crashes, I'm from a place were people drove slowly. But so far a nice town.
I actually love that the speed limit is 70 instead of 60 where I’m from. But definitely some people seem to need driving lessons for their own safety here. You’ll enjoy Raleigh! Welcome!
I LOVE Wake Forest! That’s actually where I visited that made me fall in love with NC, definitely no turning back! Eventually I may move there when I’m ready to have a family but right now I’m enjoying the moderate excitement of Raleigh and the shorter commute lol
Welcome in advance! The best area depends on you and if you: Want to be close to/in the city or further away. Want to rent or buy. How much you want to spend. How close you want to be to certain places like work, grocery stores, sopping etc.
