RD 400 YAMAHA 1977 MAINTENANCE ON CARBS AND IDLE SET

TODAY I DID SOME BASIC CARB MAINTENANCE ON THE NEW MIKUNI CARBS ON THE 1977 YAMAHA RD 400 AND HAD TIME FOR A SHORT RIDE BEFORE THE RAIN CAME.

Hi Windy, check the wattage on the aftermarket H4 bulb your running. I recall you replaced your headlight. Some of those kits come with a higher rated bulb than the charging system can handle. You can get a 35w h4 bulb if needed.
