u can literally paint ur own dream! sometimes I dream abt such beautiful places which I never wanna forget from my mind but it goes away..if I had such amazing artistic skills like u, I would paint every beautiful dream of mine and hang up on my bedroom wall

Awesome painting Kevin. it is amazing how when you do the blocking process, it just looks like you are throwing color everywhere but it actually has a purpose and then when you add details it turns out amazing.

This is beautiful. I work in acrylic and oils and catch myself trying to make it sooo real. Love the soft look of your paintings. You just keep reminding us to Not Overwork and to step back from the painting. I'd love it if you could do more garden art.

Great video and great painting also! Even though this an impressionistic painting, I love the sense of depth you created! And that bright patch of green, separated by some cool shade, truly makes the viewer want to venture into the path in front of them! This makes me want to drop my oils to do an acrylic next!

I use a hair dryer in some instances to expedite the drying time (dries in seconds instead of minutes!). Just FYI for anyone new to acrylics. Also, thank you Kevin for showing you CAN make acrylics look as good as oils!

"Halfway Decent" you say? I know you said that before you were finished with the details of your painting, here, but, even at that point, the painting was very beautiful to me. Wish I had your talent, Mr. Kevin. LOVE all your paintings, bunches!!! Shhhh - just between you and me - I think you're a better painter than those who have their own TV shows ...... I love their paintings too, though. LOL! I know this is public, but, I do think you paint quite a bit better than they do because, your paintings look more realistic - like you're actually looking out a window or standing outside, looking at the real - life scene! Thank you bunches for sharing! One of these days, I'm gonna hopefully be buying ALL your DVD lessons - even the OIL ones! 😁 Maybe, just maybe, I can paint them using acrylic paints, also. 😊😊😊

Before Kevin started to do some acrylic paintings i always said "acrylic paintings never look as good as oil paintings" but as i see this one i think it couldn't have been better. I like the short simply finger fades and the sharp foreground ^^ the light and colors made me so happy i couldn't shut up
Acrylic and oil have their own purposes and appearances, you can never say one medium looks better than the other. Techniques and materials also are not subject to such a rule. Whichever medium makes you happy and can accomplish your goals for the artwork is excellent
