- Do high fit young/adult deer species animals respond to a high fit call? I'm not sure. We will try and figure that out and can it help the player? Also inside: Strategies involving napping and teleporting animals =)
- Hry
greater kudo photo drop looks nice
I'd probably assume that in diamond, they are probably all high fit. So another thing I did the other day is I was in cotton wood, used high fit rattle bag, and adult wt started moving, I let the call die and him reset. Then tried grunt. He didn't move. Then used Rattle again and when came I harvest to prove he was high fit. Agree marginally useful, but like figuring how things work
You can tell if a young is low fit by his antlers. They will much much smaller than a young high fit
I just want to note that I have the same problem with the grunt caller, but with the rattle bag the young high fits come in.
In my exp, most species start trophy score at least 100 and even almost 200, not zero. Most species Starr 2 star above 250, even some over 300 on the scale of max 500. So picking low fits without callers can be rough guessing how far they can grow
wow - that was some info to get head round - i only thought a couple of most closest of herd responds to the call.....not sure if you saying it's bug or game bad design in mechanics - also the dev's probably did not think you would test and test the game to that depth.......By the way good shooting in this video - dropping all animals .......
Thanks! The lures are very confusing to sort out. It seems very random overall
Hey. as far as the young, i've never had any young antlered anything come to a call. adults and matures.
We definitely have had young come to low fit calls. It's the high fit call that is strange 🤷♂️
if this game is ever going to be good for archery play style, they will need to change some of the game mechanics. more callers and such.
I agree, it will need some work for archery to be up to par
I haven't played with that animal teleporting, yet. Did u see that bison photo I posted over the weekend? Sneaking can work, just need to use the right strategy. Btw thanks, I did enjoy the closer look at 223 vs 30 30 idea
I'll have to look at the bison. I end up alerting them multiple times when trying to get within 80m then they start to walk away
Another great video. I was curious if anyone knows what the correlation between the animals fitness percentage and the stars are for example what’s the lowest fitness percentage a five star could be is it 90%? And if so, I think any animal that can’t reach at least four stars should be considered low fit and come to that call, I don’t know what do you think? Maybe it would make the game too easy doing that just a thought.
The general rule is 85% to become a five star. But it is apparently species dependant. Could be as high as 90% for some. I think the devs are pretty set on below 50% is low fit and above 50% is high fit. But I support any change that is beneficial to the game 😃
@@bumblewoot it’s just frustrating. I was watching a herd that had a mature three star and I let it age for multiple cycles and then it just died off and never got above three star and it would never come to the low fit call. I think it would just save some time if they upped that to maybe 60% or 65% I’ve had that happen a couple different times following an animal that I thought was hi fit but it never panned out
@@dadsacyco3852 yeah I understand. The 50-70% fitness range is the most difficult to sort out. We've been trying to find ways. So far the best way with some animals is to cull 2 star mature with old fur. If it was a 3 star mature before the last year it was probably 70% or so. Which is definitely beneficial to let die of old age. Sounds like you're doing well at the game though 😃
I hope that with the bows we will be able to atleast shoot them up to 75 meters. I can’t wait for Africa any day now it’s coming.
Yeah we will need that sort of range for this game
Anyone know when the Africa Dlc will release?
release date still unknown. Has to be out before mid august though
Just a quick question, how come you don't collect the tasks from the campsites? During your tests and gameplays you would've been able to complete a lot of them already.
I don't want the mission list to fill up, I focus on one at a time OCD (I just had one that took 8 months), no hurry on it, can be content for future videos, I will be working on the active goat one probably soon, don't need the in game cash, I seem to make my own missions lol 😃
@@bumblewoot Hmm. You're able to choose any of the tasks to activate any time, so I found your method interesting. Thank you for the reply!
@@SpecialGuestStar yep I know 😆 it's mostly OCD. I wouldn't like the big long list showing.
