Honestly, this was a very intelligent move on NASA's part. Of course we now know that there's no life on the moon. But back then, the possibility there might be some anaerobic bacteria or some frozen viruses on the lunar surface wasn't too far fetched.
They actually going a line of ants where they were quarantining so if there were any moon germs they still could have gotten out which I think is quite funny but also scary
Why wouldn’t we quarantine for something like this? Like if time a traveler went to the future and came back we would definitely want to quarantine them.
Thankfully there weren’t any moon germs. I’d imagine spending a birthday in quarantine wouldn’t be fun, but Neil Armstrong made the most of it

What was funny about their quarantine was that they saw ants had crawled in, meaning it was not airtight
I imagine if the germs are like the last of us fungus💀💀
Jojo virus *GIVES US STAND POWER*
Neil later said the facility wasnt airtight so we all would have still contracted moon plague if it was a thing.
Just a scary realization for yall

I love the little lunar module next to Neils birthday cake... That's just nice
In past space technologies were very advance
Neil just got to hang out with the bois for more time

A bug brought back from the moon could have caused everyone to loose their minds and turn into lunartics.
