Flitz has always been a great product. Flitz is always among my metal polishes. Great for polishing some plastic too, like headlights.
Interesting 🤔 Metal ✨ Polishing method...My personal opinion is all about Prep work n sanding
Sometimes if they are too far gone sanding is the only way, but you still need a metal polish to remove the final sanding scratches.
I'm confused.. I thought you're saying that the Flitz Polish has some sort of protection? The water beads up (8:20 mark)? But then you take your spray Ceramic Sealant and just put it right on top of the polished surface? Doesn't the sealant work better on a virgin surface with zero protection?
It works on both, I use it on my semi truck, ceramic right after the flitz polish, shine lasts nearly a year with minor upkeep
Would this stuff work on Stainless exhaust on a motorcycle?
Yes very well.
Can I use the metal polish with with a DA or rotary polisher and which pad would be recommended?
yes
Use a felt pad, you won't be disappointed
Wow, twenty minutes and there is still pitting and it looks like crap and you only did 1 tenth of the rim. Yes you will be black from head to toe but with sanding and Rouge that whole rim would be an unpitted and a true mirror finish in under an hour. At your rate that would be three hours to do a rim and it would still only look good from a distance.
well its like he said 99% of people would be happy with this. This is an affordable alternative anyone can do.
@@HOMELESSG0D sure but you would get a better finish in less time with 00 steel wool and wicked polish then hitting it with a cotton buff.
, you are not kidding, 0000 steel wool and a quality polish is a good option for the working semi truck. It was my method until I learned to sand, cut and buff
Was thinking the samething 😂
SOS pads work better and faster
And also scratches the aluminum. Solved one problem to make another.
That looks like crap! This dude is full of Crap!!!
No, for what he started with it was an improvement. Flitz is popular with guys in trucking who have fairly good aluminum and want a good shine. Of course if you want no pitting then you are talking sanding, cutting and buffing which on a semi truck is upwards of 1000 dollars
No for how long he has spent it’s good. I spent 3x this long to get close. This is decent. Can keep going to make it look better
