This leaves out the key moment where Louis realized that he'd nearly pushed Harvey out and begged Jessica to keep Harvey. She didn't just change her mind all on her own.
The entire show is about people doing something someone's whispering in their ear.
The mother-son bond between Harvey and Jessica is the tightest relationship I have seen in a corporate situation.

I know people are all "Yas queen badass gurl Jessica slay" in the comment section every time but Jessica was terrible to Louis and harvey couldn't stand that he didn't get it first.

Louis was a duplicitous weasel. He usually got treated far better than he deserved. His first inclination was to backstab he was an overgrown selfish baby man.

Some missing details in the throwback episode: Louis looks bigger compared to season 1, Harvey has the same corner office as an associate than a partner etc.

It would be totaly like Harvey to want to keep is same office, HIS office. Even in the later seasons they basically had to have a come to Jesus moment to get him to take Jessica's office lol

Bruh what? Of course Louis looks bigger. They shot the whole show for a decade. Hoffman changed and lot during the whole show.
Louis was an envious, vengeful and vicious scoundrel at first.
Only from s6 did he become part of the team
He never stopped being vicious and a scoundrel. He was a circular character until the end. That was his use on the show, to create drama, learn a lesson and then unlearn or ignore it immediately afterwards. THAT is what Louis was, as a character.
