It took me quite a while to get everything done since im a starter but still I managed xDDD got everything wrong at first but it wasn't the case in the 2nd try (fortunately, thx god). I am getting this error for android:imeActionId="@+id/login" in activity_signup . Can you plz tell me how to solve this.
Error-
Inspection info:android:imeActionId should not be a resourceId such as @+id/resName. It must be an integer constant, or an integer resource reference, as defined in EditorInfo. Issue id: InvalidImeActionId
and one more thing, change the FirebaseAuth auth to "mAuth"

If you've done the database part, you can the strings/ fields in your firebase database section,not the authentication section

Sir i got this error when i connecting firebase. Firebase: A config file "C:\Users\vindo\AndroidStudioProjects\FirebaseLoginApp-20180513T174319Z-001\FirebaseLoginApp\FirebaseLoginApp\app\google-services.json" was found, but it indicates a project ID "fir-loginapp-ba43e" that you dont appear to have access to. Request access or delete the file in order to proceed with the connection process.
You've already connected it to firebase once I guess. Dont worry, look into your projects > app > Google json, delete this file and try the process again. If it still does not work, delete the json file and the project in your firebase and try. It will surely work.

But the normal way of storing it won't be possible, you'll have to use firebase database for the same
You have to create the login first and then have a database, so what this does is, first it lets the user to login, once he is logged in, whatever input he adds will be saved in his profile on your database

I had problems with this since there are new version, so what I did was:
add to Module: app build.gradle
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-auth:16.0.2'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-core:16.0.1'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-database:16.0.1'
implementation 'com.google.firebase:firebase-messaging:17.1.0'
and that would fix the auth problem
as for the crashing of the setDataToView(user) being null on line 44 or so
do this:
authListener = new FirebaseAuth.AuthStateListener() {

public void onAuthStateChanged(@NonNull FirebaseAuth firebaseAuth) {
FirebaseUser user = firebaseAuth.getCurrentUser();

just add an else statement so if the user is not null then it gets call, otherwise it skips it.
