Awesome, I laughed along with you fantastic

I've never known motion sickness to make me laugh 😅

Thanks! I laughed as hard as you did but, like you, only after landing. It’s amazing you didn’t vomit due to the disconnect between head offset and camera view. I wonder if pitch and roll make sense for head control (with the right exponents) but yaw is best left to hand controls.

This needs to be done in acro mode - think it could be fun ^^

Maybe one day, but you saw me, moments away from a mental breakdown and only in angle mode 😂

Cool idea. I think I would get sick from it.

Exactly what happened to me 😅 - needs refinement and proper rates for it to work better, but the big hangup is the yaw - some cursory research into INAV doesn't reveal a method to set heading with a receiver channel which is what would be ideal. Makes me wonder if it would make any sense flying in acro 😂.

learned some fusion360 steps from you explaining how to do some steps better than who called tutorial maker expert, now you are doing this kind of stuff is so fun to watch and learn more.
    keep it going....
Maybe instead head tracking on goggles, stick it to TX or anything else and acts like DJI motion controller.

Actually a dude over on Facebook made a glove with motion tracking, and throttle control by making a fist which sounds awesome.
If I were to pursue this further, I have an old Logitech joystick lurking in my bedroom and it's looking really tempting right now 😅.

in VR game there are walk by head orientation, maybe there are some similarity here

That's kinda' what I'm experimenting with, to see if there is an intuitive way to fly with the head or something and make it feel natural, like VR tries to make it feel like you're there.
Of course the headtracker can be taken off the goggles and handheld, so maybe a motion joystick would do the trick as well, would love to try out different methods. In fact there's a guy who has made a glove to fly the drone as well, but he hasn't posted in CZcams yet.

As I watched your head tilt video I had the same thought, why not fly with head tracking? AMAZING that you did this. I have a friend who is paralyzed from the neck down and he's been wanting to fly a drone. i killed many brain cells dreaming up ideas but lacked the tech know-how. you found it weird because You initially learned another method of controlling nut if someone learned to fly with this it might work. Yes, it needs more development but it's a start, like the toroidal prop idea. i have another hands-free idea, i should probably email you(if you're interested of course).
