On the topic of yaw resolution from the mixer side, an alternative to this, assuming we never reach 1,000deg/s with your own head yaw, is to set the flight controller yaw rate to 500deg/s and set the weight of the trainer channel 4 input to 200% - then the stick yaw input weight can be increased from 20%, in my case, up to 40%. Not unreasonable considering I don't think I could ever turn my head at a rate of 1000deg/s 😂
