@@talorw8930 yes but if you do it rarely the risk is very low, plus most motherboards now have safety stuff in them to lessen that risk as well. It's same risk as if you get a power failure in your house.

This is literally 80% of my friends list. I’ve even asked guys why they appear offline and it’s this exact reason. They know someone that they don’t want to play with. It’s this weird “I don’t want to be stalked” mentality.
Just to be clear, it’s not weird that you don’t want to be stalked. It’s weird that you would hide from everyone just to hide from one person. I try to appear online as much as possible because if you don’t want to play with someone, you should be able to just tell them that and they should understand.
