Hi! greeting from Singapore! Great video! had a good sense of what Dream Cruise (DC) can offer. Went to Royal Caribbean (RC) and trying to see if DC can offer as much fun. Few questions,
1. Are there any drink/food packages to purchase? like the ones in RC? and does DC have any souvenir cups to bring around to top up drinks? basically how does the "drinks package", if any works?
2. If you book the Palace package, do you have to pay any add on to food and beverages to enjoy the premium?
Hey Daryl thanks! Unfortunately I don’t know of drink/food packages on either cruises. With the Palace package, I do know you can dine once at each specialty restaurant for free during the trip

Maybe you already know, the palace suite corner rooms are wayyy bigger with separate living and bedroom. Toilet has standing shower plus bathtub and they come with a huge..i mean HUGE balcony with 2 deck chairs, a full sofa set and still plenty of space. All these for the same price as a middle palace suite room.

Yes, you can request for it at the time of booking. Even if soldout, you can try changing while on board. That was what we did. The balcony was so huge that there was even an unsheltered part that gives you dtrect upward view of the sky.
You got me there when you picked up the phone and ask for your butler for literally anything.

I'm going on the resort world cruise with a 21 months kid. Do you happen to know if the teppanyaki place can accommodate kids at the cooking table?
Upon arrival back at Singapore, do you have to check out/leave immediately? Or do we have a few hours to disembark?
Thanks alot! I assume that the teppanyaki is able to accommodate but just to be sure, you should check with the staff.
For arrival back to Singapore, they will issue an allocated time for disembarkation

The main things you can’t bring on board - multi adaptor plug and hair dryer. You can search their website for more info on that

Drone is not allowed unfortunately. They kept my drone at the immigration. Gimbal/tripod is fine

Hi, How did you travel from port Klang to the Bak ku teh place? Did you book a taxi through the counter and how much is the taxi fare?
We took a taxi from the port. My advice is to book a grab and pay in cash cos it’s way cheaper

You don’t have to ‘check out’. Just gotta wait to leave the cruise and return your key cards when exiting

Resorts World Cruises covered the costs of my room, but I believe it’s about $1k per person for the palace suite

How many hours I have to be there before the departure time?
You’ll be issued a check in time and you can reach roughly one hour before the timing
Is Uni Uma for palace guest only?
No all guests can dine at Uni Uma, but the prices are payable for non palace guests

Went to the same bak kut teh stall as you with my family but we think it is just so so leh... The Morning Bak But Teh at Hong Lim market which also use herbal soup is way better which i patronise more than 10yrs.

Awesome video as usual! Im going for Royal carribean 4D3N to penang and phuket in Nov with my wife and 2 kids! Do you think it is better to just stay on board or should we disembark when we reach those 2 destinations? Would like to hear your opinion on this. Thank you!!
Thanks! If all you wanna do is to relax, then you could just stay onboard or maybe just go for one destination. If not, I'd say head down to explore even if it's for a short while (provided the travel time for Phuket's attractions isn't too far).
Tbh, we found ourselves packed with stuff to do on RC even without the overseas destinations
Is Malaysia visa required for shore excursions?
I’m not 100% sure, but there is no immigration clearance for shore excursions as your passport will be handed to the cruise
