  • Discovered in 1897, the letters of Tel El Amarna shed light on the political tensions that existed between Egypt, Canaan and Amurru during the period known as the Amarna Age. King Labayu of Shechem pleads for help from Pharaoh as does the Canaanite king of Byblos.

His error is that Hebrew is the daughter of Akkadian, the letter is written in Akkadian. Hebrew derived from Akkadian and Phoenecian languages.

David Rohl says Labayu spoke Hebrew because Egyption chronology is out of kilter and Labayu was really King Saul. Mutbaal was Saul's son King Ishbaal, Dadua was David and Yeshuya was Jesse and Ayab was Joab! It's a Test of Time to explain why Labayu spoke Hebrew.

Israel left Egypt in 1401BC when Pharaoh Amenhotep II (1427-1401BC) died in the Red Sea chasing Moses and the Israel tribes. 1361BC they enter Canaa'an, the Amarna Scrolls were the proofs that Joshua/Israel/Hebrews (Habiru) was conquering Cana'an. Moses (bonr in 1481BC) was the Prince Amenemhat with was given the title "Overseer of Cattle" in 1455BC by his step brother Thutmose III who hated his step mother Queen Hapshepsut (3 years after Hapshepsut died). Hapsepsut'daughter named Neferure was the prinrcess who adopted Moses as her son (with Thutmose II). Akhenaten was the Pharaoh in the Amarna Scroll that was asked to help by city mayors in Cana'an due to the siege by Habiru. When Hapsepsut (1479-1458BC) died, Moses was about 23 years old, 17 years later, he left Eqypt (1441BC) wandering in the dessert after killing egyptians. When he came back to egypt, the king was Amenemhat II who was born 3 years before Moses left egypt, thats why he did not know Moses because Prince Amenemhat was reocrded died at 37-38 years old (may be Moses pretended he was killed by someone when he was 37-38 years old)

Joseph became Prime Minister/Grand Vizier in the 29th year of Pharaoh Amenemhat III (1860-1814BC) or year 1831BC, He was named Kheti who made Rhind Mathematic Scroll. After Amenemhat III died, Joseph no longer become prime minister, the bible said Israel lived in egypt for 430 years, as I said Israel came out from egypt in 1401BC .. so this is the precise year, 1831-1401 = 430 years, so the history really record Kheti (Josepht) was the prime minister in the 29th year of Pharaoh Amenemhat III or 1831BC. 183BC was the year Jacob bowed down to Amenemhatt III and when Amenemhat III asked how old he was, the bible tell us he said he was 130 years old, it means Jacob born in 1961BC, and Jacob was born when Isaac was 60 years old, it means Isaac was born in .2021BC and Abraham was 100 years old when Isaac born, so Abraham born in 2121BC. When Abraham lived in Cana'an, he was 75 years old or around 2055BC, around 2045 BC Abraham go to Egypt and lost his wife Sarah abducted by Pharaoh Mentuhotep II"s troops ( 2046-1995BC), Mentuhotep II was famous as king with many wives. and year 2057-2055BC was the year abraham and his family came out of Ur in the time of Utu Hengal besieged Ur (2055BC) and conquered Ur defeating Tirigan the last king of Gutian Dynasty, the second dynasty of Ur. I believe Terah brought his family out of Ur following Abraham because they were scared by the news of Utu Hengal wantted to besiege City of Ur one year before the fall of Tirigam tle last king of Gutian Dynasty.

Thank you for all you comments, Zoltan. My late father, Dr. David Neiman, was a tenured professor at Boston College for 25 years. His academic papers were published by Harvard University Press, University of Chicago Press, Encyclopedia Judaica among others. The historical facts he presents stand up to scrutiny. He was an expert in the field. I welcome you to explore the work of other scholars.

So the Hebrew language existed at that time? I'm guessing your belief is getting in the way, trying to link Hebrew to the Amarna letters.

The Amarna letters(Actual historical artifact)alone disproves the bible!
Amarna letters (14th -13th century bc),written in cuneiform. Phoenician and Hebrew written language didn't exist yet. Also most of the letters came from Canaan(so called promise land)
The letters show that Egypt held considerable power over these Canaanite kings. One letter written by a king of Babylon named "Burra-Buriyas" complains about the killing of Babylonian merchants in Canaan and reminds Egypt's pharaoh that "the land of Canaan is your land and its kings are your servants."
In the bible, no Egyptians are reported outside the borders of Egypt and none are mentioned in any of the battles with Canaan. (Historical evidence refutes that)
An Egyptian amulet bearing the name of the Egyptian ruler Thutmose III was found in Israel dating back around 1200 bc. Here are some sources: (Jerusalem Post, Biblical Archaeology Society, The times of Isreal, Breaking Isreal News, Isreal National News).
Asked how the Egyptian amulet could have reached so far as Jerusalem, Dr. Barkay told the City of David, “For more than 300 years, during the Late Bronze Age, Canaan and the city state of Jerusalem were under Egyptian dominion.”
basalt stele( currently at the Israel Museum) excavated at Beth Shean( Northern Israel) depicts the victory of the pharaoh Seti I, who reasserted Egyptian rule over Canaan in the 13th century B.C.
Also had the battle of Kadesh (1274 Bc) which a treaty was signed between the Egyptians and Hittites who lived in current Turkey. This proves Egypt again at this time, had full control of what is now Israel because they would of gone through Isreal. (Kadesh Treaty tablets are displayed in Istanbul Archeology Museum)

Labyu isnt a Hebrew name for a Lion but an Arabic semitic name from a female lioness Labwa ( Assad male lion ) . Aslo there is no Ancien Hebrew language it's Phoenician who orignated from East Arabia's coast of Dilmun ( Bahrain ) . Abraham would have sopken Akkadian or any Iraqi dialect . Hebrew is an Arabic word to sidcribe crossing over and is still used today by all Arabs . Reading the tabletis very Arabic andnot Hebrew because Akadian is a branch of proto Arabic . Akkadians came from Arabia . Stop stealing history and language . Hapirus/ Habirus are not Hebrews and not a tribe but a name for renegades , criminals , barbarian of society also mentioned by Egyptians .
