Maybe 2-3 realy good assault rifles were mentioned, mixing them with waepons of museum value (M16 and AK103) and short carbines being a different group of weapons (TAR-21). As far as the No 1 is concerned ( M-16 ) the specifications are inaccurate. The weight of 2,89 kg refers to the initial M-16A0 version without magazine, whose effective range was only 270 metres. The later M-16A2 had an empty wheight of 330 kg and an effective range of 360 metres ( who has made up those 460 metres anyway ? ). By the way the weights of all weapons mentioned in this video are without magazine as I can compare with what I can remember. How can one place at No 1 a weapon that has no adjustable butt to the soldier's convinience. whereas there are so many modern weapons ( Including the M4 version that derived from the M-16 and isn't even mentioned in the list ) that provide this useful feature ( it boosts aiming performance ).

AKs are obsolete, ergonomy from 40s, it doesn't even have bolt hold open, only purpose of such primitive weapon is that they probably have enough consripts in Russia.

Even that the M16 (USA) weapon is the best! Apparently, the creator of the video is not aware of the fact that the M16 has died in countless cases when mud and other dirt got on the weapon, (in). e.g. in Vietnam. In contrast, the AK performed excellently in dirt and muddy conditions in the field, and it also performs excellently underwater. Anyone who was a soldier knows.

MT-76 Turkish rifle is the best of the best in all round. just bring it any competitor to beat them up one by one. It is the only machinegun which passed 42 NOTO standards plus 16 extra Turkish ones so in total 58 standards are impossible to beat. Even closer one can only pass the half of them

Why are these rifle models the best, what methodology did you use when choosing them?
Anyone can create their own list and each one will be different.
He didn't use any method. That's why he also put a battle rifle on the list.
He used COD MW2 as his barometer for this. In no way would a bullpup be on this list in terms of ballistics performance and manual of arms when operating these weapons. He isn't accounting for any type of environmental factors, force multipliers or what the role the weapon serves to fit.
Him reading the measurements of the rifle mean nothing. Steyr AUG is definitely no where near the "top 10" weapons. Even his very first sentence mentioning the scar being the US SF standard weapon is completely wrong when the block 2, mk18 and urgi exist.

In my opinion, the list includes automatic rifles that are outdated in terms of design and function, there is no latest Croatian assault rifle that has newer technical solutions, maybe the reason is that we are too small, thank you

The best steer rifle is the A545. Although it is expensive and rare, it is not inferior in reliability to AK assault rifles and surpasses them in accuracy of fire, ergonomics, shelling, and range of fire. The only downside is its heavy weight

I heard from adults in Vietnam.. m16 was in the Vietnam war despite its fast firing rate and high accuracy. but it was not favored by the Viet Cong. Because it jams bullets. This makes them uncomfortable

AK-103 has ammo 7.62X39 mm. AK-101 (for export) has ammo 5.56X45 mm
G36 has accuracy issues when sustained fire due to heat I guess, G3 is a battle rifle more, AUG is more balanced than Tavor and Tar 21 developed to X95, so, good to see correct places in the list. Sig USA spear series may be on the list. Most of those rifles are different versions of another even including the bullpups. Galil has principles of AK and Tavor has m16... Scar, 416, Sig may be upper in the list. Not only for popularity but reliability because they are upgreaded rifles after feedback. For example HK 416 was made to resolve the problems with m4. Its interesting that Scar and Hk 416 will be less seen in the US Army in favor of Sig MCX.

I learned to shoot with a H&K G3 when I was 16 and it has-been one of the best modern rifles, I have also had the pleasure to shoot the original M16 which was also a great rifle, however in my opinion the best assault rifle is the one that kept me alive and will keep me alive regardless of manufacturer or origin, that said I do have favorites.

E una classifica completamente da rivedere , al primi posto M 16 roba che basta un granello di polvere per bloccarlo , oltretutto manca il Beretta ARX 160 che può camerare sia il calibro 5,56 Nato che il 7,62 . Come dicevo una classifica fatta di parte , in questo caso il migliore per me era AK 103 non lo inchiodi nemmeno se ci sali sopra con una macchina .

I did serve in the Dutch army as a UN peacekeeper in Lebanon in 1979 and we had the FN FAL wich might have been heavier (weight around 5kg) then the M16 used by the Lebanese soldiers we worked with. But it did outshoot the M16, effective range was 600m and the penetration power was better since it had 7.62 instead of 5.56 ammo. The Galil is also a good weapon looked scimilar to the FN FAL.
So i don't know why the M16 is on first place, a lot of (special) forces use the HK so should tell you something in regard to the best assault weapon out there.
The French Foreign Legion for instance has started to replace their Famas with the HK 416, so although the video is made up good i don't agree with your listing of best assault rifles.
Sadly you did't investigate enough since of some there were already updated versions (that are not even mentioned) before you made the video.

I thought the AK-103 used 7.62x39 ammo not 5.56x45. As far as the SCAR goes, it depends on which variant you are using because the SCAR-L uses 5.56x45 and the SCAR-H uses 7.62x51. Also the US military hardly uses the M-16 much anymore because the standard issue battle rifle is the M-4
АК-103 7.62. Автор совершенно не в теме. Этот автомат достаточно редкий, даже в России, поэтому он не может занять второе место. По итогам СВО против Украины, лучшим и массовым автоматом остаётся АК-74 и его модификации. Но скоро на первое место выйдет АК-12, когда его доработают по результатам военных действий.
Калибр АК 103,- 7.62
На все модификации автомата Калашникова (АК-47, АК-74М, АК-101-103) невозможно нормально установить оптический прицел.
На автоматы Калашникова оптический прицел можно установить только с помощью боковой планки и кронштейна.
Если установить оптический прицел на АК с помощью боковой планки и кронштейна, то во время стрельбы СТП постоянно смещается.
До 100 метров точность стрельбы из АК с оптическим прицелом удовлетворительная, но дальше 100 метров пули летят куда попало.
Автомат Калашникова годится только для мясных штурмов, но для прицельной стрельбы совершенно не годится, так как конструктивно для этого не приспособлен.
С интересом просмотрел ролик, с М-16, не согласен, чисто свое для себя. На 1 месте АК-103,5,56 мм. Самый надежный и один из лучших образцов стрелкового оружия в современном мире. А также созданный на его базе Галил. Остальное оружие я не могу сравнивать, поскольку не держал в руках и не пользовался в самых тяжёлых условиях, и в бою!

3. Ак-103 никогда в жизни не был под патрон 5.45х39 потому что он использует патрон 7.62х39,посмотрите на изгиб его магазина это любой российский школьник сможет определить. И разумеется, опять же он явно не может быть хуже чем м16. Посмотрите на канале Kalashnikov media как они очередью стреляли с него без перерыва, он раскалился до красна, у него отвалилось расплавившееся от температуры цевье, но он продолжал стрелять
P. S. Думал посмотреть топ современных винтовок а увидел взгляд нуба непонятно из каких критериев подбирающего образцы вооружения и расставляя их по местам, смешивая при этом современные винтовки и откровенные раритеты типа g-3. Заслуженный дизлайк

The M16 is definitely not the first place rifle, and cannot even make it to the top three. At most, it can only be said to be a famous rifle family.
In terms of era, Germany and the Soviet Union both manufactured assault rifles that used intermediate power bullets earlier than the United States and heavily equipped the military. However, the construction of the M 16 gun family had too many defects, and they repeatedly improved, until to an era of insufficient power for 5.56mm meter rifle bullets.
Russia still has a large inventory of 7.62mm * 39 bullets, while China uses 5.8mm intermediate power bullets today, which have the highest kinetic energy among all small caliber rifle bullets. Although the M 16 series has the advantage of high accuracy, there is no advantage in spot firing compared to using the same ammunition as AUG and other unsupported rifles. Even using the 7.62 * 39 Chinese 81- rifle can achieve accuracy similar to the M 16 rifle, at least better than the M 4 rifle.
In terms of overall performance, the M 16 gun family has poor adaptability and is not an excellent weapon suitable for large-scale equipment units at all.
