I'll add the using dogs cheese for getting entrenched enemies to charge your lines. Turn 1 impatient bro drops hound, will force the AI to attack instead of hanging back. Works on ghost, vampires, brigands and goblin skirmishers. Last DLC changed AI behaviour regarding dogs. Will only attack them when there's no preferred target in range (your bros) or as part of an AOE attack. Useful now because as it allows for surround and unretaliated attacks on lindwurm and schrat with proper placement. So long as the mega shield tank holds, a giant dog pile is going to eventually shred even death lizards.
So, regarding first tip. I had a contract and retreated but it didnt count (maybe i read text wrong), though its not the strangest thing . When i came to ruins i found some kind of cleaver and it said "gained name of the item" but i didnt get the item until i had beaten auxilaries. Its sad i didnt try that cleaver out (it was my first unique item ever) as i lost campain next battle
Haven’t played BB for many years and have recently got the feeling of “well, maybe I should get back in and play again”. This was fun and useful to listen to while I was doing the dishes. Thankyou!
it's a exploit- when you win Arena fight, game will throw you out to map screen- if you reload the save, arena fight will be avaible again, without next day cooldown. At least on ironman, didn't test it on manual saves. It looks like Arena done check is made after re-entering the town and if you quit & reload, the game forgets that you just won arena fight.
Nice job on this one. I like it. But the Tiers videos are my favorite. Also, I still dont know how to try to hit an opponent's head. Is there a keyboard key or something that lets you attempt a headshot????
Hey guys i just play BB,can someone tell me about nimble perks , in the desc ,it say max fatigue 15 , is it from both head and armor,or i can use 15 fatigue armor and 15 fat head too
its both from head and armor. (example: 10fat armor + 5fat head) going over 15fat doesnt kill u tho. it just makes it a little less effective. you can see that by hovering your mouse over the nimble perk on your bro to see how much it does
Note that the reduction to damage only applies to your hp. More hp is better. An orc double axe comes to about 60/90 damage to body/head. Armour will soak much of that before the nimble reduction after pierce damage. In short, nimble is good for maybe 2 to 3 hv hits if this type. Bleed and poison still does full damage while fire and miasma gets damage reduction. Which reminds me of the other hidden game mechanics. Fire pots only do direct damage on snow terrain. There's no fire field for damage over time. The smoke bomb secondary effect also extinguish fire and miasma.
Depends how you like to play. Manhunters is harsh as you need more slaves than other units. Peasants drawbacks are that they can't buy highborn backgrounds (hedge knights, noble ect)
Is there a mod that fixes that contract to take out the camp? It's just sounds bad game design that i give you a quest if you take it you lose something really valuable.

was it a crypt cleaver or a warscythe? they aren't 'named', just normal high tier weapon.
