I fell in love with the 300 many years ago when I was a teen. One day I went to the mall with my friends and there was this beautiful 2005 Chrysler 300c on a spin table in the middle of the mall. It was silver and sexy as fuck in my opinion lol from that day on I’ve been obsessed with the 300. Where im from AWD is a must and the 5.7 hemi is a bonus. That’s another reason I fell in love with the 300, I loved how it had a 5.7 hemi that you would typically find in a dodge truck.
5.7 is a decent motor imo
the u connect system in the Dodge and Chrysler cars are awesome
I second that
These cars always seem to me so beefy on the road. Executive looking
They really do. I love the look of the front end!
My Chrysler is fantastic, best car an ride quality for the money not to mention its good looks
They are very nice
Nice video. Really like it. Classy, almost like a boss.
Thank you
I have the 2012 300c Lux, @ 6:18 the reason for the cover is to dampen the noise coming off the engine so you can enjoy a quieter cabin during the ride, if you check just under the plastic you will find thick padding...I was almost tempted to remove mine until I saw the padding.
I know why it's there. It's just there are better designs to engine covers. It's a small gripe lol
Great video
Cheers mate
Good review limey lol.
Lol you're silly
i got one.thin its nice,nice review
Thank you.
Yeah 👍. It's the closest I'm a get to a Double R or Bentley. 2016 Chrysler 300S. Well thank God it's paid for clear and mines
Amen. Nothing better than a fully paid off car! Congrats
@@LawsonsCarReviews
Ty brother. Yes 👍 I agree 💯
Good review. I have always liked these.
me too
I can’t wait to I get older this is gonna be my first car😃😄
Lol.
Most gangster affordable car out there
Facts
This car is really nice.
It was very nice
Cool car. I wonder how they are going to refresh it moving forward?
Great question. Thanks for watching
It's perfect for our family.
How has it been for reliability
@@LawsonsCarReviews well I'm only 16 years old and topical chrysler fashion the sunroof is big so kids can see the sun and moon and the sunset.
Great review. But did you run it in Sport mode any? That totally changes its acceleration plus the steering, braking, and turns on the AWD (which won't otherwise activate unless the temperature is close to freezing.) It comes off the line much faster in sport mode.
Yes I drove it for quite some time. It's probably the 6th 300 I had driven
if you turn off traction control the awd activates too. also if you want awd with traction control without sport mode. all you gotta do is turn on the windshield wipers. the car also drifts really well with traction control turned off on wet roads. lets just say my 2014 took alot of abuse 😂
The wipers. Really?
Was wondering the same thing
Right
I quite liked driving this car
Me too. I rented one before
@@davecass3939 I've probably driven 5 or so of these. 1 was the 5.7L V8
Hey I have a crysler 300 v6 sport edition and I'm wondering is it normal to hear a ticking sound at every fresh start up. Does this happen to others and does it happen to other cryslers?
Any ticking noise is not really normal generally. However that could be a number of different things. Take it to the shop if it's bad
These cars are known For ticking noises . Can’t escape it
Great video! I've always had a soft spot for the 300, especially the hemi V8 models.
Thank you. I'm curious how do these engines hold up over time with high mileage?
Chrysler reliability seems to get a bad rap, but I think the engine would hold up over time it would probably be the electronic systems that won't hold up well.
I'm curious how it would hold up too
@@LawsonsCarReviews the 3.6L pentastar engine, is an award winning engine, it has proven to be very reliable, along with the 8spd 8hp70 transmission, if you take care of them, they are very reliable vehicles, the hemis, they need to have the fuel saver MDS system deactivated or deleted, otherwise, it kills the motor.
My mini van has a pentastar engine. Seems pretty solid. But I have heard the same thing you said about the Hemi engine and the MDS.
You have to press the sport button in order to engage AWD. It’s in RWD when not in sport mode.
i would say if thats the case its kinda dumb
@@LawsonsCarReviews not really. Whole lot of performance cars adjust the rwd/fwd ratio depending on what mode it’s in. Super common in M series and AMG Series cars.
Oh I understand. But it's not usually awd fully off or fully on. It usually directs a % of the power to the front/rear. Personally I like Subaru awd systems the most
Great show! I’m guessing the Chrysler 300 S don’t come with heated seats.
They do have heated seats
@@LawsonsCarReviews awesome I’m thinking of getting one 2017 AWD SPORT
They do even cooling seats and heated strain weel!!
Correct
I'm looking at a 2016 with 132k on the dash ....are they worth it?
That's not enough info to answer that question
Depends on the price. They are def worth it but If you’re getting it for $20k+ with that many miles that’s a bad deal.
So is a 2015 300 S with 93,000 miles for 15,995 a better deal ? 2 owners no accidents
Depends on what options and the condition. Is it as clean as the one in my video?
@@mulamadison599 stay away from 2015 models go up to 2016
I have one
How do you like it
I want to buy this car, have you seen problems with it?
I test drive them but don't own one so can't speak to its reliability
AWD is only on in low temps
👍🏿
You sound like your from England ..uk viewer
From Shottingham lol
Nottingham ....leicester
@piperwarriorsimproject5705 Leicester was my second home
There's a few chrysler 300c older versions I have seen in Leicester. Do look like d bentley some people put the badge on the front..
The engine cover is foam backed and is there to keep the engine quiet. And you missed the lighted cup holders in the back. No heated seat? And no, the Charger AWD is the police interceptor. It sits a little lower and has an SRT suspension. (rides a little rougher) And the Charger handles like a sports car. It doesn't lean and don't ask me how they did that. I thought the 300's were the same. The Challenger AWD is. And, that's probably why you can't get the 5.7. The police don't want them because of all the problems they've had with them in the past. The 5.7 Hemi is truly garbage and can't idle for long periods and keep its cam lubrication. And that's pretty much all a police car does. So what do you do? I supercharged my 3.6 and get 602hp from it now. And 41 mpg on the Interstate.
All that maybe true but the basics of the car are the same as the charger.
@@LawsonsCarReviews Yes, you are correct, they're all mid 80's "E" Class Mercedes sedans. Even the two door Challenger.
Yup i did know that
@@LawsonsCarReviews Yes and thanks. I have an 18 Charger AWD I ordered new from the factory. I really wanted a 300 but couldn't get it equipped like I wanted it. If you got the stereo upgrade, you couldn't get the power curtain in the back window. And I wanted both. I also really liked the dash of the 300 and the blue gauges. But I hated the shifter, really hated it. So I re-imaged my car, thought sporty, and ordered the Charger in Go Mango dark orange instead. And even that I had Dodge make paint changes to it. (I got rid of the huge black mouth on the front of it) And scrapped the black wheels. I put aluminum louvers over the Chargers fast back, back window, and Supercharged it instead. I don't think I would've supercharged a 300, or probably still even owned it for that matter today. With 602hp, I'll never part with my Charger, so it was the better investment long term. Money wasn't the issue. It was either that, or an Audi A7 Sportback once I thought sporty. I chose the Charger instead and don't regret it. It's the nicest car I've ever owned and I've owned 16 cars. I'm not a young man. The 15 Charger AWD I bought used started it all.
Wtf Panoramic?
what about it?
I got me a 300s 2019 its a good car and a hoe magnet 🧲 🤪 😌 😎
Lolololololol 🤦🏾♂️
