Classics have the most beautiful covers of all time. Companies put so much detail into their covers. Currently my favorite edition of paperback classics are the signature classics and the hardcover versions I love are the Chiltern classics.
classic books have some of my favourite covers!
You have a beautiful colleciton of classics! & this is random but I really love your hair. You're making me miss my bangs!
thanks so much! that's so kind of you to say. 🤍 they are a pain from time to time but i've had them for a couple of years now & i still love them...
@@JemimaRose you pull them off really well! 🫶🏻
you have such a beautiful collection!! ❤
ah thank you !!
Love your collection! And can I say you're really pretty 💖
so sweet of you to say !!! 🥹 i'm glad you enjoyed the video
We have those flexy leather books in the States, I really like the ones for Dracula and Wuthering Heights.
i’m so tempted by the dracula one!!
beautiful collection!
thank you! 🥰
If you loved Rilke’s Letters to a Young Poet, you must read Duino Elegies. It can be a life-changing work if read at the right time in your life.
I will definitely check it out! - thank you.
So lovely!
thank you! 😊
You advise us about the light and the bookcase on the hallway and that space is in fact really nice.
sometimes the lighting seems worse through the viewfinder than it does once i look at the footage afterwards. i’m glad it worked out in the end! 😊
I really enjoyed your video👏.. Full of content n no time wasted😍. You are pretty as well ❤️
thank you very much! 💌 i’m so glad you enjoyed.
Definitely have to try out The Complete Short Stories of Oscar Wilde! So many short stories have been a miss for me lately but I love Oscar Wilde’s writing so maybe they will work for me :)
i hope so! 💌
Your classic collection looks like a dream of mine 😢 it's not easy to get hold of beautiful classic editions where I live. May I ask how are the printing quality and font size of the Oxford classics' compared to those of the Penguin black-spined classics?
i hope one day you can have the collection of your dreams... 🤍 i am personally a bigger fan of the penguin black spines. i prefer the paper quality & the overall aesthetic of them too. some people say that the oxford classics have better introductions/notes but i think this is still up for debate. penguin have a greater collection of works so if consistency is something you're after than maybe penguin would be preferred...?
I love the bookcase in the hallway where did you get it
i’m sorry to say that it’s actually an antique so i’m not entirely sure where we originally bought it! it would’ve been from eBay or an in-person auction house.
how are all your books in perfect conditions? it makes me sad to see mine slowly yellow with time :((
i try to take care of them very well. i think it might help that i store them away from the light & try my best not to crack their spines!
I sub just found your channel
