Welcome to my CZcams channel Hairliciously. In this channel, I will be taking you on a journey of my FUE hair transplant progress. Towards the end of November 2016, I had a 1700 FUE hair transplant done in South Korea at Motion Clinic (en.motionclinic.kr) to lower my hairline and to fill in my receding temples. The FUE hair transplant procedure took me about 7-8 hours to complete and cost me approximately $5000 USD.

And what I want to ask is I am from Africa and obviously our hair is curly type from the outside and from the inside (not sure if that applies for all) do you think motion clinic is a good place to get my HT. Hi hairliciously I am on my month 8 after the hairtransplant. I do like how my temporal lobe was filled and is definitely looking better than how it was. But I think that my frontal hairline is lacking so much hair 😞. I am already thinking of getting a second hair transplant to have that good density. So maybe next year after I save enough money.

It seems nobody speak about the difference between resistent follicles (donor area) and weak follicles. Scientists keep lowering DHT but the think is we need to treat weak follicles (in the root of the problem). Why weak follicles cannot receive DHT??? This is the correct problem to solve.

You should have cut that off after one date, that's like asking are you a little fat there girl?
No need to ask about something that might make someone self conscious.

I going to definitely going to follow your tips on the density of the hairline, juvinile/ boxy temporals, and bringing down my temporal triangles. I'm going to do the 2000 grafts! Any other tips?

I think you’re little too young to say your hair loss isn’t that bad. I’m like few years older than you and my hair loss situation was similar to yours. I was a Norwood 2-3 for the longest time during 20-30 and ‘thought’ my hair loss somewhat stabilized; I wasn’t on finasteride either during that time, so I went ahead and got my first hair transplant at age 31. During 31-32 I haven’t notice much hair loss if any. When I was 32.5 years old, I got my second hair transplant to fill in density. During the day of surgery, I shaved my head for my HT and noticed a slight thinning on the crown. When I was 33.5 my crown suddenly took a hit real fast; I started to see scalp on my crown for the first time. It got somewhat depressing because it happened so fast. I decided to get on finasteride and luckily I gain back some ground where I don’t see much scalp anymore, but didn’t gain back my natural density. If I’m not finasteride, i’m destined to be a NW5.

Can you make a video talking about how the hair on your temple points integrates with your existing hair which is affected by retrograde alopecia? Is there a certain length past which you start looking silly becaue the temple points are strong, the sides are strong, but in between is very diffuse? I'm in a similar situation and was considering improving my temple points but wanted to better understand the implications. Thanks.

    Really informative video!
I just went through my first FUE back on July 7th, and went for a lowered hairline (juvenile one) as well as filled up my receding temples.
I guess I am eager to get to the first year mark to go for the 2nd one already, as from what I gather all over YT, there are very very few instances where the first FUE was truly enough.
Mind you, I am aiming to grow my hair long again, which is the sole reason for the FUE, so this will be an interesting journey!

Something that I didn't appreciate the importance of until recently is your temples. Because they will thin, if not completely recede, too. This area will also need to receive transplanted hairs if the look is to be a natural and successful one, which further limits the number of hairs that can be placed on the top of the head.

Hair product companies have investments worth billions on hair regrowth and anti hair fall products. Although every one knows they don't work, people go for them hoping maybe it'll work for them! Wish I had your money....hair transplants are so expensive. And a much safer route than finastride. But hair transplants cost 8k to 100k dollars wtf

Why do professional soccer players seem to have a lower prevalence of baldness than the rest of the population?

I dont understand whats the point of keep making yourself lookign fake and faker? specially when you're on youtube, whats the point of being "natural" how can you be happy inside knowing its not your real hair?

@@annakessler9372 does it make you feel better critiquing someone's own choices? Getting fat removed cannot compare to losing your hair. Once you lose your hair there's no going back unless you transplant it. Just my cup of 🍵
