Going to school the next day and everybody talking about these were truly some good times 😂😂😂 Not everyone watched the actual competition but EVERYBODY caught the bad auditions.
People have to remember that American Idol is a reality show and reality shows are heavily scripted. There is a panel of judges that the contestants see before they reach the main judges and the job of the first set of judges is to see who will make the show interesting and boost the ratings whether they are good singers or bad singers.
The fact that they're selective on who they allow through to actually audition in front of the judges doesn't really make the show scripted or fake since we don't even see 99% of the contestants anyways. Some of them may be acting and playing it up for the camera to get attention, but it's not like the producers have any control over that.
I have a career as a professional music critic. It's AWESOME when we come across terrific auditions. Despite what it looks like, the hardest part of the job is telling people they don't make the cut. We always hope they'll use that criticism and work on their music or find a different path in life. Unfortunately, family and friends do these people no favors.
Did you know the judges actually weren’t allowed to interrupt someone singing the National Anthem for an audition because it would be considered unpatriotic? Fun fact!

Lol
People have to remember that American Idol is a reality show and reality shows are heavily scripted. There is a panel of judges that the contestants see before they reach the main judges and the job of the first set of judges is to see who will make the show interesting and boost the ratings whether they are good singers or bad singers.
How very true
The fact that they're selective on who they allow through to actually audition in front of the judges doesn't really make the show scripted or fake since we don't even see 99% of the contestants anyways. Some of them may be acting and playing it up for the camera to get attention, but it's not like the producers have any control over that.
I thought they had live auditions? No panel of judges before reaching the main judges. The show just picks which contestants to air on TV.
Its almost sad that they cant hear themselves...its scary because they are serious 😂
😂families stop telling your relative they can sing😅😅
Be straight up lying lol I would tell them YOU CANT SING !!
This is when American idol was so funny 😂😂😂😂
Rapper with the glasses did just fine 😂😂😂😂😂
Looks like the judges watched horror movies in reality instead of Netflix.😂
Did you know the judges actually weren’t allowed to interrupt someone singing the National Anthem for an audition because it would be considered unpatriotic? Fun fact!
I think in this case, it was unpatriotic to let her finish the anthem 😂😂😂
Lmao I was wondering why they weren’t stopping her
Should have let her finish doing it and the country justice 🤷🏻♀️
@@Jewlii123is it really though, all things considered?
@@Cassxowarywhy is there always someone like you who has to take a joke seriously and completely ruin any humor initially there?
Remember the good old days when you were allowed to be honest and tell people the truth?
Simon's face is priceless
Leandra was singing to the stadium. And Simon was lying when he said Fookling was the one of the worst singers he's ever heard. Most of us who watch the show and these clips can vouch for that.
OMG! That first "singer" got my cat to wake up and come over to me to be reassured no one is dying. LOLs!!!
😂poor kitty
“You are like a one man band”
“oh thank you”
“no that was not a compliment”
“ *oh* “
I think the first audition knew you can’t stop someone singing the national anthem 😅😅😅😅 she went alllll out!!! 😂
This is what happens when you tell your child they're the best
There's no way that a lot of these weren't paid actors.
Mary Roach is an actor.
That Christopher kid in the glasses just did this to add to his reel… he IS an actor
They’re not, just lied to by the judges before to be made a mockery to the whole world
Some of them might be paid actors, some of them might be just trolls, who are doing it just to get their 15 minutes of fame, without getting paid by anyone.
I hate to tell everyone this, but what you see is what you get.
