I used to have a girlfriend that ended up cheating on me. For some perspective, I would go to work every day, come back home and give her all my attention, but that wasn't good enough. I later found out that she felt like I was ignoring her, so she started talking to other guys so that I would get jealous and have to give her more attention, despite the fact that I had already been stretching myself too thin. One of the guys she was talking to ended up getting her to cheat on me because "If he really cared, he would be giving you all his attention," and after she cheated on me, he began ignoring her. She came back to me because she realized that she fucked up, and she just expected me to go along with it. I got half my deposit back on the engagement ring I had just bought. We've been broken up for 3 months now. She still tried calling me to ask me for one more chance, but I'm not anybody's second choice. She had me and she knowingly threw it all away. Even though she claims it was a mistake, I refuse to buy into that bullshit. She went out of her way to go beyond my back and fuck somebody else. Then she went out of her way again to keep me from knowing about it. Those aren't mistakes, they're choices. She made the choice to cheat, and I'm making the choice to never give her another chance.

She got married to one of them, who was then stationed all over Asia over the next 20 years, and I am sure he was fucking around on her too while he was on deployment. So, I would be researching the fuck out of a woman if it looked like things would be getting serious.

I used to have a girlfriend that ended up cheating on me. For some perspective, I would go to work every day, come back home and give her all my attention, but that wasn't good enough. I later found out that she felt like I was ignoring her, so she started talking to other guys so that I would get jealous and have to give her more attention, despite the fact that I had already been stretching myself too thin. One of the guys she was talking to ended up getting her to cheat on me because "If he really cared, he would be giving you all his attention," and after she cheated on me, he began ignoring her. She came back to me because she realized that she fucked up, and she just expected me to go along with it. I got half my deposit back on the engagement ring I had just bought. We've been broken up for 3 months now. She still tried calling me to ask me for one more chance, but I'm not anybody's second choice. She had me and she knowingly threw it all away. Even though she claims it was a mistake, I refuse to buy into that bullshit. She went out of her way to go beyond my back and fuck somebody else. Then she went out of her way again to keep me from knowing about it. Those aren't mistakes, they're choices. She made the choice to cheat, and I'm making the choice to never give her another chance.
