Craftsman Mower Not Running , DIY Simple Fix - Carb Clean, Filter & Plug Change

I bought this Craftsman mower a few years ago and and have abused it since lol. This spring, it wouldn't start. I cleaned it up, cleaned out the carburetor and bowl, put in a new filter and plug, and it runs like new!

@@StBernardAcres Looks like Ed had to find a tow truck guy to pull his gravel truck guy out of the meadow, only person in the state that turned a nice field into a muddy mess in just a couple of months. Notice when everything that gets done Ed says "WE" done this or "WE" done that, but today it was "Dave got the truck stuck", LOL.

Use non ethanol gas and you wont have this problem. If you cant get non ethanol gas you can easily remove the ethanol in gasoline. Just look it up. My small engines never have starting problems from year to year.

Nice easy fix. Too bad You didn't do that before spending $400 on the new mower that money could have been well used on the new house, oh well

+@hubcaps1990 The new mower was needed at the house also. It’s light enough that Gail can use it easily. This one is much heavier and harder to use. Gail is happy I won’t be ruining “her” new one out here lol.
