Hi there , i followed all the steps but password still there. i backed up original bios file i edited it and replaced nvramactiveregn with ff and also 00, i erased all the chip and wrote again unlocked file and password still there, what am i doing wrong?
hi first make sure you removed battery and cmos battery before doing this also make sure you are dealing with ec rom not main rom final thing you may find several instances of nvramactiveregn make sure you erase the one that i did it is followed by some strings that i highlighted in the video

FF 01 01 15 C3 01 03 10 10 4E 76 72 61 6D 41 63 the nvram starts from 4E should i fill and replace from the FF (beginning of line )or only from the 4E ( beginning of nvram )??

this method works for me well I don’t what’s wrong with your laptop if this didn’t work for you try to flash full bios this should erase the password
