how can you import mail from existing inbox from other hosts. Like google or yandex
If for example you switch to the android eco system, how hard is it to use the cloud flare domain independent of Apple?
For website and custom email domain usage that is.
Can I link my pro CARRD account to the domain I created this way? I need simplicity with something that is not hard to manage.
I can't figure out how to add it in the apple mail app on my laptop. It says icloud but doesn't have another step to choose the domain I just registered. Frustrating.
In order to use a custom domain with icloud email do you HAVE to buy the domain through apple/cloudflare? If I already own an domain is there a way use that domain with icloud mail?

Bravo! Excellent communication skills. Question: can I transfer my domain that I _already_ registered and have Apple email host that domain name’s email instead of starting from scratch and buying a new domain name through Cloudflare?
I answered my own question. I freeze framed your iPhone menus and saw that yes! I can just transfer a domain I already own and there’s no requirement to start fresh. Hooray! Gratitude to you.
can you setup the custom domain email as a separate mailbox in your default mail app from iOS or Mac?
You can’t. Custom-domain accounts are just aliases of your existing iCloud account, and that’s kind of a big drawback of iCloud+ custom domains: if you want to use this feature for your small business for instance, you can’t setup a mailbox that can be shared by multiple employees, say for handling orders, etc. Be sure to request this feature from Apple if it’s important to you.
If i set up two names on the same custom iCloud plus domain, will it synch all the contacts, calendar and notes for each user?
These custom-domain emails are simply aliases of your iCloud address, rather than separate accounts. So you’re still using your iCloud account, but gain the ability to send and receive emails under a different name on that same account. You’ll use the same contacts, calendar, notes, etc.
So in other words it’s not 99 cents/mo

Why I would use apple when there are recommended provider like tutanota for 10 Euro per year for a custom domain? Check privacytools there are good providers which are more privacy related. By the way did you checked already the VPN provider ovpn with the most popular domainending at the end from Sweden with this special feature that streaming provider working? I just remember wrote a commend few months ago :)
I think the sell to Apple would be users who aren't the most tech-savvy and otherwise wouldn't get a custom email because they think it's too complicated. I haven't checked out oVPN yet. Still need to do that!

Does the "Allow All Incoming Messages" option at 2:00 turn that addresses into a catch-all address? So that Daniel@website would also receive emails for admin@website, webmaster@website, and so forth?
Additionally, is this a new setting in iOS 16 or was it already present in iOS 15?

It came out as beta for iOS 15 but it does exist for iOS 15. I use the service and it’s great! I’m running iOS 15.6
Do I own the domain outright? Is there then an option to use it for a web address? And how easy is the process… assume Cloudflare support you in this?
