I understand why Mr Bennett criticizes some of the evangelical practices ,namely the thing we call it "altarcall".of course going foreward and making a confession of Christ as a single act and going back to a rebellious life will not produce the salvation of the soul,yet it is or it can be a good start.a lot depends on what's next....on another note,the incredible mixture of Roman Catholic practices that invaded the evangelical church is truly astonishing

Thank you for sharing this video and your insights. I came from an evangelical background and it has taken me many years to see the lines clearly drawn in the sand between Rome and the principles of the Reformers. I have also learned that Protestantism goes way back before Luther and Calvin. Rome was not universally accepted throuh the millennium as they would have us believe.
"Looking inside to find god in your heart and choosing how you are going to live your life". That rings a bell from my evangelical roots. Witnessing to others and using Revelation 3:20 out of context, telling people Christ is knocking won't you let him in. It is all about the man, not the Christ. I am thankful that I never "lead" someone to Christ in the manner. I was trained for it and I spoke the words to many, but never lead a soul in sanctimonious prayer.

Makes sense why roman church has been so eager to hide gnostic texts. Because those texts are their texts, but they want to look like something else.

Maybe believers of the true gospel of salvation of only God's grace alone through faith alone in the sufficiency of Jesus Christ's death on the cross, burial and resurrection, must become like the original true believers in the first churches which met in smaller congregations meeting in own their homes and shunning the big circus-like arenas of the mega churches.
That maybe true of certain areas or states. Around here there are small churches everywhere, down dirt roads, almost in every holler, several in the tiny town we have. There are so many itvwould drive an athiest mad. There is 1 catholic church that not many appreciate. We have small congregations that support very small areas, all old time traditions. In them liberal & big states it takes a lot of church visits to find a true church, lots of driving & it is always the mega churches that win because of the mindset of these big cities and the false thought that if it's big then it must be doing something right. Who in Kalifornia would attend an old, small church of 50-100 people, used no instruments except a guitar & piano and sang out ofvthe old red hymnal, a preacher that was in his 60's without jeans, a shirt out sleeves rolled up, wallet chain, tattoos on his arms & neck? You know, the ones that cater to the younger only that wear the world on them.
There are no more biblical churches please could you send me a few of these books? I also thank you for your videos (just please when babies crying have them leave as it takes away focus as i have struggled with other videos.)
Thank God there is a remnant in southern Ireland. These so called evangelicals who signed this document do not have the truth in their heart. Romans 10v10.

I like this guy, but jeez, does he talk slow.
I think that he speaks slowly because of his strong Irish accent. I have heard him speak quicker, and due to his strong accent, it has been at times hard to catch a word.
