- In this episode, I delve into the neurobiological topic of pair bonding. I discuss how pair bonding is a core component of romantic relationships and how it is a natural instinct within the brain. I also explore the role of oxytocin and dopamine in the pair bonding process, highlighting how it brings pleasure and a sense of ease. Additionally, I touch upon the challenges that can arise in long-term relationships and the importance of understanding that the intensity of the bond may change over time. This episode aims to provide insights and spark conversations about the dynamics of pair bonding in relationships. #romantic #relationships #pair #bonding #love #scienceoflove #healthyrelationships #iwantmore #trapped #shouldistayorshouldigo #divorce #trapped #bounded

Thanks for listening! See you next week! - Zábava
I saved this video for tonight when I get cozy.
Relationship topics are my favorite.
Pleaseee, who is the artist of that precious painting? It gives me so much joy!
And yet, romantic marriage is a fairly modern construct.
Sounds like your pretty much right on the money from what I hear about oxytocin and dopamine. When they do find “The One”, it is easier if they have not had sex with dozens to hundreds of others. Having demonstrated this type of behaviorbefore they have set themselves up for disaster, you know, there are other ways of helping one another, being kind to each other. You have some good ideas and do sound like a voice of reason.
@whitewolf6730 Thanks for your comments and reflections. I appreciate it! :)
