What about the Repalcement Period of Batteries and how Much ? If efficiency is comparable between there three ,this is to be taken in to account?
The Vitara is the complete package. I really hope all future Suzuki vehicles pick up cues from the same.
Also. The Seltos still looks stunning as always.
Driving vitara in city traffic is a pleasant experience compared to the other cars no doubt. While test driving I had few doubts but it was not answered.
1.The MID never shown a mileage more than 19.8 kmpl whether it is city or on highways.
2. The car I test driven has driven for 600 km and as per MID the accumulated mileage was 17.6 only.
3. When the battery is fully charged it was driving on ev mode at less than 40 kmph. However I noticed that the charge of the battery is draining out very fast and then it run on full petrol mode at slower speeds.
I think more user reviews only will provide answer to this.
Creta seems a better deal ....lot of boot space, in cabin space...if one want to go for hybrid...then it should certainly be Toyota Hyryder.....but that quality of sunroof blind on GV & TH is just poor.
Diesel anyday, everyday. Torquey, frugal. Best of both Worlds.
Seltos looks awesome and stylish
My view hybrid r best for daily drivers 😀 but still for a week end & occasional car user petrol & diesel r better 🔥
Government should start encouraging Hybrids... They have advantage in emission levels and they are best alternative for EVs today...
In terms of acceleration figures grand vitara hybrid is close to seltos diesel auto which is fantastic and mileage is also better than diesel at 8:16 of video, Suzuki-Toyota have done a great job 👏
I love each of your presentations! Absolutely fantastic work!
The diff chart you showed is very useful, hope to see more of this in your future videos. Thanks
2:20: Grand vitara interior is dropping off
Damn Vitara 🔥never expected the performance 🫰🏻
The grande Vitara if got a booster jet heart then it will be ohh Mai GOD🤤🤤🤤
I have been driving a hybrid for over 10+ years in USA. Hybrid’s give more mileage in city because of stop and go every time you coast to a stop the battery charges. At low speeds on flat road you can drive in electric(EV) mode for 5-8KM plus the electric motors helps with the initial takeoff at signal lights and that is the reason for high mileage.
Congratulations to the anchor. Very neat presentation and no nonsense delivery. Keep up the good work. I see a future Shapur Kotwal in the making. God bless!
Excellent video!! Extremely informative 👍🏼👍🏼💯💯💯
My creta diesel manual returns 20 kmpl in city bruhh and touches 26 on highway
Top notch stuff Jay!
Creta diesel any damn day... Any day
Similarly plz do mega comparison of every fuel car, Petrol, Diezel, CNG, EV, Hybrid , mileage from diff engines n all
Nice comparison many got a clear idea of hybrid vs petrol vs diesel
Good review. Thank you for that.
Grand Vitara is well built than creta and seltos. it might score 4+ stars in GNCAP
This review is excellent this is how a hybrid should be compared and reviewed. Hybrid is new technology for all of us and how does it makes a difference needs to be compared with both petrol and diesel. Good job guys
@Renuka mam,
@Gavin
I'm planning to get a diesel car in Delhi. I'm split between the Venue Splus and Creta E Diesel. I have below concerns:
Is it a good idea to get a diesel car in 2022? I'm planning on keeping it for atleast 5 years and not sure if diesel would still be an option in future.
My second concern is which one to pick. Venue gives more features but Creta is iconic and has better road presence.
Please advice as I've already sold my old car and need to make a call ASAP.
Test drove the grand vitara strong hybrid 3 times in different nexa outlets in chennai, firstly most of them have stock and are ready to give the car , so 5 month waiting period is B.S .
The build quality of the car seems to Maruti like , nothing like the vw or Xuv 700
The car handles really well , but whenever the petrol engine kicks in it feels like some weird fan is running.
Average mileage shown was around 16 kmpl
Overall 24L on road is a bit too much for this car.
People might start not exactly wanting/needing any Diesel cars when comprehensively it would be established that hybrid cars are providing 30+ kmpl with negligible power drop as compared to diesel, for the same price.
Man diesel is the best pick of all 3 it’s just a no nonsense engine hefty torque at all rpm’s, carries lot more luggage with 5 passengers with ease, comfortable for all passengers, running cost not much of a difference will definitely pick diesel.
But what about the less boot space!? Also, i think Grand Vitara while driving will full load of passengers, and luggage will struggle and feel Underpowered.
Thoughts!?
True...
Waiting for the HRV... Hopefully it does come to India
No replacement of Diesel engines 🔥
Diesel is a Diesel... No comparison with it
In terms of acceleration figures grand vitara hybrid is close to seltos diesel auto which is fantastic and mileage is also better than diesel at 8:16 of video, Suzuki-Toyota have done good job
Diesel is still the king of Highway
If you only drive in the city it's better to go for electric
Hybrid and Petrol is pointless now
Seltos looks is amazing, it looks more premium inside and outside.
Which of these will be best for mountain regions?
Vitara is the one i will choose 💛
The cost difference between Hybrid and petrol/ Diesel cars means that one would take 4 to 5 years to recover the cost. But within 5 years your saved money will almost double. Thus a Hybrid makes sense only if you drive more than 50 km or so every day on average.
We need a comparison between City hybrid and Grand Vitara hybrid.
We need a Comparo between Grand Vitara Hybrid and the Honda City Hybrid.... Throw in the Nexon EV Max for good measure while you are at it... All of them are around the 20 lac mark.
please share the replacement cost of battery and the time period labour and warranty.
I am interested in buying tiago for its build quality.. Can u plz suggest any other good option in that segment?
I think Suzuki is in competition now with class leading hybrid engine
Although creta has highest sales in its segment
what material is creta's panroomic sunroof blinds made of? Is it it the same thin net type material as that of vitara?
No its not transparent like Vitara ,Creta is far better
Hi I need your true guidance i have booked car in July finally I am getting a delivery of normal hybrid sigma white grand vitara but know i am totally confused to buy or not...is it really good worth car to buy at this price..we drive near to 20000 km per year.. Currently I own Innova Crysta diesel and Swift petrol ...
Pls advise shall we buy this or wait for creta next edition as main our focus is comfort, back space, mileage, back row seating comfort. Basically we need all rounder car who will not upset us hope to get a good healthy reply from your side
can we have grand vitara awd vs Scorpio N AWD comparison out in the mud, preferably the manual scorpioN
Here I am, trying to find a replacement for my 2016 creta. And still nothing seems to match my use case other than the current gen creta. I really don't want another creta again. This sucks.
Excellent review. When is Hyundai releasing hybrid car?
Bring 1.4 turbo gdi of seltos for comparison....🔥🔥
More the electronics and more advance means heavy on maintenance and more chances of failures. Hybrid is a little risky when the battery fails suddenly. Also battery costs and any failure cost will be a severe hit for any buyer.
When can we expect the facelifted Creta to India?
I have a creta sx o IVt , which delivers about 18 kmpl when kept between 60 to 85 kmphr , also overtaking never felt a problem, if you feel under powered just slide the gear in to sports mode , it make lots of difference, of course cannot compete with the turbo petrol, but still it's fine, On the other hand every CVT gear box in any car is best suited for relaxed driving,
Astor can be pulled too for comparison!
For me Seltos Diesel AT gives around 14.5 KMPL in city. Whereas on highways, its around 20 KMPL.
Similarly i clock 35+ in Swift zdi
Hello Good video And These All Three Mid - Size SUVs Good But Grand Vitara 2022 is Some Biger Then Other SUVs ok 🇮🇳
Even if the petrol offers 100km/L I'd still pick the punch of a Diesel mill...😍😍😍
it's a pity that the Kia Seltos & HYUNDAI Creta don't have 4WD . . .
Long run maintenance is complex and costlier in hybrid.
You didn't talk about the highway mannerism of Vitara. It has high body roll and it's very scary to take sharp turns.
Note to self. Never think about the sun roof in India. Thats going to mess up the interiors.
A problem here is, for a people who wants to buy a efficient car under a budget of 15 lakhs without breaking the bank, the present hybrids are too costly, so with rumoured adblue coming up for the diesels in Hyundai and Kia, a guy will easily go for the diesels for all practicality
Grand Vitara's highway mileage is less than city mileage? How?
Really appreciate the host. Seamless talk back transitions and voice pitch. Perfect pace.
In hybrid cars the wear and tear is significantly less the break pads lasts almost twice the mileage of regular cars because when you remove the leg from accelerator the car starts charging the li-ion battery which causes friction and reduce the speed of the car.
Ms grand vitara is good👌👌👌👌
Kushaq bhi add kar lete aap
summing up reasons not to buy the vitara hybrid:
1. almost 60000km for breakeven means more than 7 years worth of driving for most people and most customers of this price category do replace their cars after 7 years. do note that the lithium ion battery warranty of vitara runs out after 8 years. with the hybrid technology new for indian conditions, who knows what kind of problems and expenses people might encounter.
2. if you breakdown in the middle of nowhere, nobody can help you except the authorised service centre people. even though maruti's service centers are everywhere, i highly doubt absolutely ALL (towns and villages) of the service centers will be able to diagnose and fix the hybrid vitara as skillfully as their city counterparts.
3. just picture yourself doing your airport/intercity runs with half your luggage on the seats just like you do with all the CNG cabs of delhi.
4. that "not so opaque" blind on the panaromic sunroof is gonna fry vitara customers during summers in northern india even if AC is ON, just wait and watch.
5. wait for the global NCAP crash test results.
6. do you really want to spend 24lac on a car with a "maruti suzuki" badge?(buy the city eHEV, just kidding, it has the same problems as this)
7. creta and seltos are far ahead in fit and finish.
its a great technology. full scale adoption of EVs is still few years away and strong hybrids are the way to go for the time being in order to get the most miles out of a drop of petrol and reduce emissions. government should provide more incentives to the auto industry to bring more competition into the strong hybrid space.
Toyota or grand vitara plz suggest?
Hyrider s hybrid
Or
Creta Sx IVT
Or
Skoda 1.0 At /1.5
Sometimes compare base models too
what about n cap scores
Awesome bgm
Just came back from Nexa showroom..it felt like Vitara front seats are small
🤔the skoda kushaq should also ve been included, yes its a bit smaller in dimensions but the driving pleasure makes up for it🤔
No matter the outcome of this comparo, no car can beat the Skoda Kushaq in terms of Safety and Drive Quality. 😏
Surprising how some cars are big on the outside n cramped on the inside...
SELTOS🔥
I want to see XUV 400 in the mix when it is launched next year at a similar price to vitara !
I own creta ivt and mileage is much better than what is shown in the video-city 10-14.5 (with ac on and maintaining 30-50 kmph speed in Bangalore traffic) and highway (17-18 with ac on and maintaining 100-120 kmph, 18-19.5 with ac on and maintaining 100-120 with cruise on)
The allgrip variant seems to be the best for Indian conditions
Such big cars to be best used in highway, in city if you want to use everybody use e bike
After 8 years I wouldn't want to spend additional 2-3 lakhs for battery replacement plus yearly maintenance. Normal petrol or diesel is best
Great video, but it's truly sad to see so many cars being manufactured with automatic transmission... Truly heartbreaking to watch the current gen not know the beauty of a manual transmission and the clutch... Takes a whole lot of fun away when you aren't in true control of the machine... just my opinion...
2:19 thought was a leaky sunroof 😂
Waiting for upcoming Creta facelift... anyday over Vitara
And without thinking about the safety. Creta is just so weak in build, it's gone
When it's launching???
Good to see editors are killing it watchout @powerdrift
Hybrid. Petrol. Diesel. I think you missed the most important 4th segment here and that is a Turbo Petrol. You could have also covered how Turbo Petrol I.e. Skoda Kushaq and Vw Taigun compares in this segment.
And what about the ride quality
😅😅😅🥳🥳🥳Feeling more as i got MG ASTOR at 17lac top model automatic and enjoying 14 kmpl in mix and 16+ in highway 10 in city
And with that huge 4 5 lac difference it will take a looooong time gor round offf and I'm getting a premium biggest and longest sunroof and many small and ultra luxury features
Grand vitara is the winner no doubt
Bedsheet for sunroof. Itna cost cutting? #Vitara. Problem during summer.
Nissan kicks value for money car this segment
Mg Astor and Volkswagen tigun and skoda kushaq miss
Hyundai need to soon launch creta facelift to sustain in market...
What's the battery warranty on the Li-Ion set of the Grand Vitara? Same as rest of the car ? Or even lesser ? Factor that in and the equation suddenly changes.
Car comes with 5 years or 1lac kms of warranty. Lithium ion battery comes with 8 years or 1,60,000kms of warranty.
8 years
Bigger question is will Vitara give 23.77 kmpl in city drive?
I doubt
Today is our car delivery creta
Where is the boss kushaq
What about repairability of a hybrid, you won't find any mechanic in the highway if you have some problems as it is a complex setup. So that would also be taken into consideration on a long run..
As if roadside mechanics are able to repair modern cars when the check engine light pops up. Everyone needs diagnostic tools nowadays and I bet mechanics versed in hybrids will come in the next 5 years
No one should let a local mechanic touch the drivetrain of a 15-20lakh car whether it's diesel, turbo , hybrid or even a normal petrol. RSA is given for a reason
