      It’s just as well; there’s no such thing as a fuel-efficient truck because it’s an oxymoron. All trucks NEED to be gigantic gas-guzzlers or else they’re NOT trucks! 🛻

    Is this truck actually going to come to fruition or is this just an infomercial to hype a concept car? The manager of my local Toyota dealership told me when I asked him that they have heard absolutely nothing on their end from corporate regarding any information whatsoever about the Stout, so......who knows.

    Cheap, price for the Stout is listed for $23,000. And up. Where did cheap go. It is just another worthless so called pickup. The bed isn’t large enough to haul anything other than groceries.

    • @Myrdoc
      @Myrdoc Před 17 dny

      You don't buy a Stout, or Maverick, or Sant Cruz to haul your 4-seater UTV; that's not what these smaller trucks are going after. People that buy these haul their mountain bikes, camping gear, yard waste to the dump, hardware supplies and limitless other small loads. These are basically cars with a bed instead of a trunk. which obviously is a major market because Ford has sold a shit load of them. Toyota will sell a shitload of Stouts once they become available. There's a massive underserved market for small, fuel-efficient pickups.

      Cutesy but tradesman don't care. Make it bigger ,able to haul. Nothing fancy inside or out. Just a workhorse. What you have here is a toy truck.
