I always cap off the bad bag and use the other bags to raise the trailer, bad bag comes right out. Looks like your shoes are rust jacking also. Keep the video's coming
That was fairly easy to get to. On my refer trailer one of the top bolts was inside the frame and a pain to get too. I usually ended up cutting the bag out and taking a grinder to the rolled edge of the fitting from underneath than I could just pick it out of the frame. We also had quarter turn valves on each air bag since it was common to blow them going to Alaska. In the winter it was easy to pick up a rock or ice between the bag and pedestal and wear a hole in the bag. If you have a pin hole you can sometimes fix them with a tire plug kit on the side of the road.

My friend just changed the air bag on his 378 peterbilt dump truck a few weeks ago and thought it was kool to see how it was done, I'll catch ya on the next one
I like the ratchet strap idea. I usually just bypass the air bag by zip tying the hoses shut and lift the frame with the other 3 bags til there’s enough room and sneak it in

No. They do tip over sometimes but if you know what you are doing the risk is minimal. Material is already coming out before the weight is over center. Sometimes sticky materials can get you in trouble but even then for the most part of you just keep raising it to get the material to slide out your fine. When people try to set them back down is normally when they tip over
Any recommendations to replace the trailer airbag on a petroleum trailer while it is loaded can’t seems to get enough clearance to remove the airbag and both happen to be blown on the same axle.
Hey man, watch out with those Pittsburgh jack stands. Some model numbers aren't formed correctly (worn out tooling) and can jump the locking mechanism. I took both my sets back to the Hazard Fraught and they gave me a full refund. You probably already know about it but figured it was worth saying for anyone else reading the comments. How do you like the long wheel base on job sites? Probably not a real issue where you are. Around here short end dumps and short daycabs and tri/quad straight trucks are all that typically fits
They use straight trucks for certain jobs when they get a tractor trailer there normally expecting it and have enough room I can get in most anywhere you can get a short day cab tractor trailer just might take a little more skill
I have 2 bags I think the same as those. If you want them will send them for shipping cost only. Let me know and will get the Part numbers off them. Then you can see if you want them. Company mailed me the wrong bags. Then told me to trash them rather then send them back.

cool voice over Ezra what it didn't pop? last week popped an air bag on the tri axle a/section (b/double lead) cattle trailer couldn't get one in town boss went shopping in the next big town for 4 bags (3 spares) the next day and things are starting to warm up like harvest carting just waiting on the tri axle bis-alloy grain tipper getting a ring feeder bracket on its rear mad rush to get trailer ready got to put hungry board back on wire up trailer plug on rear and number plate light the rest the body builder will do air lines put the hydraulic diverter and hydraulic line to rear
No it didn't pop just got a leak. Iv had them pop before though. One time parked with a loaded hopper went to bed in the middle of the night I get woke up by a loud bang and the truck shaking thinking someone just backed into me I get up and get dressed only to find no one around and a blown air bag...lol
@@Ezrider359 the trailer was just fixed new floor new air lines and electrical Had the crate taken off (uses it with drop deck carting hay bales it was the second load i would love to sort out the suspension on thee truck has an air leak somewhere it has new shock absorbers and 2 new leveling valves when hooked up to load trailer it twists the chassis a bit (visually) bloody AG400 8 air bag suspension I hate it so does my boss it scares you when it kicks or sways on the bitumen or gravel roads when loaded that's why the bis-alloy is getting ring feeder the other grain trailer has air suspension the bis--alloy has leaf suspension

if use u bolt nuts covers those treads up they come off next time
