Definitely can repaint these as young dragons as well the archway. The wings are great kitbash as well! The fence and bridge are the perfect size for the board too! So many ideas!
the dragons are pretty cool. Also the castle could add some nice features to the game in a homebrew quest. Nice!

I'm so glad someone else understands how horseshoes work. We found one in our backyard digging and I had to explain to my wife the luck would fall out if you displayed it upside down.
That TEAL slide is a perfect ice/glacier chute proxy for the Frozen Horror tile.

Id buy that box. :P We could create a bunch of Quests dedicated to only Folklore creatures. The Fairies can easily be converted and look great in our collections. Maybe good enough to be even statues. Those are a great for HeroQuest.
Good if dragons, unicorns and fairies were in HQ and to further expand the HeroQuest universe.
Painting those fairies up as statues, and using them with the healing pools from delthrak? 👨🏻🍳 👌🏻 💋
They have a knights and dragons set that has weapons like ballista's that look interesting.
Keeping my eye out for that one!
I got the $5 Below version and it is well worth that for wings to kitbash with. Some of the unicorns scale well. Fence pieces and arch look useful.

Wow! My niece just got those toys a few weeks ago and I literally just started working on coming up with a homebrew for her with them this week!
I guess this means i need to go to Five Below.
On a side note, maybe the Heroes were turned into unicorns and their quest is to find the cure

Full disclosure, not really a fan of the "Dollar store 'forced' homebrew" series of videos. Not sure why, totally just a personal thing I guess. That being said, I LOVED this video. I enjoyed all of your examples and just generally having a version of HQ for people not really into the darker/slaying fantasy thing is a really interesting idea. My one complaint is that you didn't try to put wings on the Barb! That's the very first thing I would've tried! I can't imagine ever using any of this stuff myself but I was very impressed at how well the pieces fit on the board.
Totally understandable on the dollar tree vids - i try to make a little something for everyone! Now that said, first someone mentioned putting wings on the dwarf, now the barbarian?! 🤔
