I'm form a tropical country and seeing these dudes look at my fruits like "WHAT ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH IS THAT!?" is freakin' hilarious.
Yeah me too. Lol.
I know what you mean
Same here!
Love those whenever my mom bought 'em
I only saw the video because of the rambutan which we have a lot here 😂
“Leech? You can get that over in the creek”😂
🤣
Lol!
"nnoo diss a frut"
Indian here , would appericiate if you could explain the joke so i could join the laugh
@@capybara_izz_my_spirit_animal litchis sounds similar to leeches
I absolutely love how open minded these men are! They are willing to taste fruits they can't pronounce and never seen before, adapt it to their recipe, and just watch them taste the magic they made together! Its so beautiful to watch and see their world just open up a little wider!
: ) That's what it's all about: Broadening people's horizons.
For tv at least.
Hey if no one else is doing it in their region, and they learn a new trick? It only helps their operation.
@@badmandansanchez1823 yeah man , having a unique product that ONLY you have is $$$$$ !
@pappy451 they sell it.
Richard is naturally gifted. Forget a show. The master needs his own distillery for sure.
Yep, that man needs to be put on a plane and traveling the world for a show on booze in all regions.
AGREED
I agree. You can tell he loves what he's doing. He's got the grit to take risk and be creative.
I’m greedy. I want both.
I think he'd be the first to say that he's not a master, he's still a student.
When Richard came in he changed the moonshine game for real
🤣🤣🤣
Like this is real.
Even for Indonesian like me where this rambutan & jackfruit is abundance this is new, usually we only use mango, sugar cane, banana, or palm sap for moonshine.
Ain’t even moonshine no more
@@Beyodd as if the first shiners in the mountains of Kentucky/West Virginia didn't experiment with local fruits/foods. Guarantee they used pawpaws.
The way they’re talking about and tasting fruits as if they flew halfway across the world for foreign cuisine is just hilarious 😭
Louisiana for ya 😂
we kinda forget much of a privilege it is to have all these rare fruits at our disposal
i mean, those fruits did fly halfway across the world...
I mean when you live in the biau just a few miles can feel like half way across the world
Store probably right around the corner.
Seeing grown men trying fruits out together is wholesome.
richard needs his own show asap!
"The intricacies of artisinal moonshine"
Facts!!!
Yesss
Man I been wondering if they was ever going to add a brotha to the monmshiners lineup roster lol
That would be bpring just one guy
Man!!!! Made my heart warm seeing people from different backgrounds come together like this. The world needs more of this. Peace and love to anyone and everyone with an open heart.
This is my feeling seeing these gentleman of their respected craft working together and enjoying the fruits of their spoils....so to speak!🤭. New sub here.
Yep all drinking from the same glass and dipping fingers in tio
Reminds me of how I grew up in the south. Back then, respect trumped race and everything else. Boy do I miss those days.
@@lexluger3490 Still does for most of us.
Much love bruh 🫱🏻🫲🏾
I liked the part where they went to the manga section of the bookstore and the one guy said "richard is very in his element here" while richard explained fruits basket to the fellas from virginia
Underrated comment 😂
Sir Richard the 🐐
“That like one of them things that come out the ocean?”😂😂 they do look like sea urchins
Best part of all these clips is everyone getting tipsy together at the end lol.
Those fruits are very common where I'm from. It's interesting how it's exotic for them. The same way we find cranberries, blueberries, blackberries, peaches, artichokes etc. exotic.
When u stay in the mountains/woods. You don’t know anything else. Just like you can’t expect to find many mangoes in Alaska. As you would Miami. Same thing
So sweet watching them collaborate and learn from each other.
That's a nice pun 😂
love the way they open minded to try something diff, that the essence of life, try something new
As an Appalachian who lived in Vietnam for 3 years and have tried all these fruits AND has real moonshine from the hills, I really appreciate this video. I love lychee and think it would be the best moonshine. 😂 I’ve only got peach, cherry, and white lightning.
❤can’t be many folks from Appalachia that have lived in Vietnam ✌️hello from New Zealand 👍
Welcome home from Saigon soldier. I bet you've got some great stories. Do you happen to ever get to TX?
“Hey that thing gon bite you”
“No, YOU bite it”
😂
Richard is a real master distiller. A real credit to the trade. He knows his stuff, but always wants to learn more.
Most popular local spirit here in the Philippines is "lambanog" made from coconut sap, harvested almost like how maple ssp

i heard many people died because of lambanog? is it because they are home made?

Feels HEAVILY produced but enjoyable to watch 😂👍
thats because its a reality tv show lol
Durkkka durrrrrr
They need to sell these limited batches to the viewers and fans man. Great collab
And break how many laws in the process!!??lol it would be nice to try some of their concoctions especially this one with strawberry and mango just sounds delicioso
I love how they all come together
Its fake.
@@sergeivadaski9466 nothing is real we live in a simulation now shut up and enjoy the content
@@Suko44 Amen! I’m sick of people saying it’s fake, just enjoy what your watching but they are actually making real moonshine…
We call this “Rambutan” In the philippines, I now live in Seattle since 2019 of september, And seeing this really makes me miss all of the fruits and vegetables back in My Motherland.
You all should consider going there and see how much we can offer.
I was just about to add the rambutan comment🤣. Magandang araw sayo kababayan
In Indonesia we also call Rambutan.
Welcome to Seattle
AS I WELCOME SEATTLE TO ME.
in Malaysia we call that rambutan too
“U can get that If you go in that creek”😂😂😂😂
AHAHAHAHA
My respect to all this gentlemen, the trial and errors they had to go thru to become masters in their craft is inspirational.
Trials and errors are usually done over a few generations depending on the place. My old uncle is running the old moonshine stil from the early 1930s.
Love seeing people from different places bond over things they are passionate about.
I worked in teams a lot, but very rarely in a team like this where everyone gives 100% all the time, everyone loves what they are doing and everyone is open minded to experiment with new ideas. Among people like these is where the magic happens.
I believe these men have a solid business in their hands 😂 🥭🍓
this is so wholesome just some cool dudes nerding out together
Richard is really the master at this sort of thing.
That was beautiful to watch. Look at Virginia and Lousiana showing the world how it's done. Classy, Gentlemen. 💯🥃
Leeches? Yeah, you git them going over in that creek! 😂😂😂
Richard is the chef of the moon shining world.
This brothers love for it is heartwarming. You love to see people enjoy their work
"Lichi?!! You can get dem if you go in dat creek" 😆
Rhubarb and strawberry go great together.
Great collaboration: old school technique and knowledge with Richard as the "perfumery nose" of the outfit.
I'm imagining all the exotic fruits I've seen and imagining these guys testing them. 😆
About 72 years ago I was living in Thibodaux, La and there was the largest loquat tree I have ever seen. And when I was a couple of years older I would go with Daddy to Charlie Usey 's bar in Raceland for his home blackberry wine.
I'd buy this biography Pat. You seem very interesting. Are you really 80 years old watching these videos? That warms my heart!
Living in the area now Thibodaux, Raceland, along the bayou cher
@@jimpoole4884 . I would buy your book ...
Rambutan would probably pair really well with strawberry, it much like its lychee cousin has a floral scent and a sweet grape-like flavor.
“We’ve never mixed” now I believe that!
This is how the world should be. People from all walks of life sharing and enjoying alike interest.
I love the social walls breaking down between these master hooch cooks! Within seconds the ol' boys let down their defenses.
This knowledge needs to be passed down to future generations, great job.
MANGO ON THE FRONT, STRAWBERRY ON THE BACK !!
Amazing stuff here , wow wish I could taste , WE LOVE YOU TICCKLE HAHA, studmuffin you , love from Aus
These guys are having too much fun!
"Mango on the front, strawberry on the back" LOL - I bet it's yummy.
I don't even drink and I want to try that stuff 😁
This shows that when we come together and put our heads together that the sky is the limit 💯
Both parties are so open minded to each other, wonderful
LOVE Richard.. Such a humble and smart man!
One of the goodn's!!
Richard's a Genius! He's definitely a game changer in the Shine Business. Great to see him w/these guys. Steel sharpening Steel! Need to see Richard more.
Love seeing a group effort on something different. Love when different styles come together from different places. What America is about.
People from the south are different but I respect them because they are willing to learn if you make it make sense ...
This man blew their minds with stuff from their own local grocer lol.
This is how you change things for the better. You respect traditions but are equally willing to try something new... and you can never learn enough.
Their accents make their interactions even more wholesome imo
seeing people being passionate about their craft is always fun to watch,
Richard is a treat to the show. A guy specialised in exotic flavours of moonshine. He's full of surprises.
That dude kept tasting it with his "strong hand" 😂😅
Except none of those fruits are affordable for making booze with here in the states 😆 not bad when you’ve got a television sponsor buying all your supplies though lol
O Brasil a frente de outros países pelo menos na possibilidade de bebidas
Beautiful how they come together and made history moonshine.
i love that they are so open to different ideas.
Richard knows all his fruits but the other 3 guys they are like living in the wild or from somewhere unknown how can they not know all these fruits existed lol 🤣🤣
Those fruits don't grow naturally in their area. Like you said they spend their time in the wild.
We do this from pears and plums . And it-s AWESOME !
Richard adding the flavor that moonshine always neededn👌
This was such a pleasure to watch! I had so much fun watching these men try all these tropical fruits. Get confused and then get real into it!
They don't care about race, they cared about the mango/strawberry flavor the moonshine had and that its awesome.
The world needs this kind of attitude and brotherly love.
That’s on camera… go down there and try when the cameras are off.
"Lychee? You can get dem if you go into that creek." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
That's what I love to see learning from one another
I really dig richards demeanor and attitude! His character speaks respect and humility! But his confidence says I’m here with you but you don’t wanna be against me! Cool calm collective and extremely intelligent! some game I soaked up while watching him work!! You really learn alot about an individual when you see them in their element doing what they’re passionate about!
Man i love these videos i love how happy they are all are to teach and Learn from each other so awesome to see
This is the true beauty of America.
This why i love richard bro he is the 🐐
Love seeing 2 different cultures of moonshiners come together to make something we can all enjoy.
01:18 you could see the annoyance on his face for a quick second then having to remind himself where he’s at
This was one of the most wholesome beautiful shows I've watched in a long time. I don't know a thing about distillation but this made me want to learn more
Sir Richard is the best
Watchin this teamwork makes me smile
Coastal parts of Mexico and Puerto Rico. People would make mead in jars using different types fruits. Depending on where you are. Some people would just bury it on the beach and let it ferment for a day or two.
These grow on a tree outside my home! Loved these growing up, super funny to see it being so alien to others.
"Mango I'm the front strawberry in the back"
So a moonshine mullet?
Love all these guys i wonder how much they drink🥃
Mango on the front and strawberry on the back needs to be a t-shirt
I love it. That’s Americana right there! 👍🏽👍🏽
*taste the sap from jackfruit*
me, watching from a tropical country: what in the-
"Mhmm taste like bubblegum"
