- We've seen these types of videos with US troops, but seeing the loadout for foreign troops gives some solid insight into how they train and prepare.

The Camo Pattern is called NZ MTP (New Zealand Multi Terrain pattern), it's a varient of the British MTP but contains darker shades of green to better suit the enviroments which NZ soldiers operate in.
I dont understand why you KIWIS don't vote to have the UNION JACK taken off your NATIONAL FLAG and I'm ENGLISH as well. But your your own country and you don't rely on us for any help at all so why is it still there and same goes with our AUSTRALIAN COUSINS as well???
@@SECRETORDEROFTHEKNIGHTSTEMPLAR Do you have problems mate?
@@SECRETORDEROFTHEKNIGHTSTEMPLARbecause of the treaty of Waitangi mate
@@DK-cy5mt Now why would I have problems?? Looks like you have the problems by being triggered by what I wrote would you like Spain,German,Portuguese flag on our flag??
@@5heffPaul British more so than English lol. But close.
Also those entrusted in representation of the crown done a pretty poor job on honouring their obligations hence why we have so many current issues
Rifle is an LMT MARS-L, It's a variant of the CQB-16 that LMT provides. Monolithic upper and fully ambi. I love using it.
Camo is a variation of MTP, named NZ MTP. It was derived from the U.K MTP pattern with altered greens and browns to suit NZ & Pacific environments. Though we do have an arid variation too.
The Helmet is a Viper P4, Most units have primarily full cuts, but some mid and low cuts have been floating around Recce and JTAC.
Nods are PVS-14's, issued both mono and dual depending on inventory and unit.
Plate carrier is a Tyr Tactical Male Epic
We have NZ MRE's, He most likely had the U.S MRE's due to being over in Hawaii.
NZ MOD went all out a few years back in our modernization program, updated Infantry kit. We were using decades old equipment with some slightly modern kit a about 5 or so years ago. A lot of pricey stuff from LMT and Tyr, but small military so can outfit all units with good kit.
Thanks for the info!
11:38 I believe the use of US MREs rather NZ ones is because this was filmed at an international JTAC course/event in Hawaii late last year.
It was JPMRC- joint pacific multinational readiness center not Jtac event
Yeah we have r own rations known as RAT PACKS but typically on exercises overseas we will use the host country’s ration packs.
The pouches look like Warrior kit. I have the same on my webbing belt.
Most likely it's Platatac. Warrior uses different material for the molle webbing.
NZ soldiers are trained to operate more like rangers as we arent part of Nato or any major alliances and dont have air support or a massive military. This leads to our troops expecting to be much more self sufficient and less tech reliant.
We are technically part of ANZUS/5 eyes etc and operate at Nato standard. But the only formal military alliance we have is with Australia.
Wigram? 2nd/1st?
Def brothers in arms mate. ANZAC spirit lives forever
Lot of nice equipment. My hunting pack is close to the same. Just need a claymore and grenade pouch lol. Where you get those? Bass Pro
Hi on Бутусов Плюс is video with international legion last added worth watching.
Dope video, 500k coming shortly 🤞
Thanks for covering NZ tac. Interesting 😁
Gucci piece of kit always knew it as DPM displaced pattern material but that was awhile ago wouldn't be able to trundle up those hills now. Solid channel bro. Rifleman all day. Onward
Pretty sure DPM stood for Disruptive Pattern Material?🤔
Brillant, thanks for chcking that out.
Those ir lasers on the binos, gun and signaling pointer surely are a dead giveaway in near peer situations.
That's how torniquet is pronounced correctly.
Its crazy that you have less than a million subscribers. 👍👍
Lets change that youtube.
16:30 There it is, the dry ironic wit I came here for. 10/10.
that LMT rifle
Yo CAC, wondering if you'd be down to review the SAF's conscript commando training! Would be interested to hear your thoughts on it although the series is outdated and not an accurate depiction of the current training.
I can DM you the link to the web series if you're keen!
Tourniquet is a French word though.
was invented by a French guy in 1718 and the word adopted into English then, been a part of English military kit since 1785
Its abit like how French toast isn't actually imported from France for breakfast🤷♂️
Quite surprised the compass is a Silva and not a prismatic jobbie.
I noticed he hasn't any gear for hazardous conditions (gas mask etc).
Can someone please explain the laminated and sandpaper part? Thanks.
usually, you laminate something, a form or template, so you can write on it with a non permanent marker, and wipe it off and reuse it. this NZ soldier was actually using a pencil, so he sandpapered the laminate plastic to roughen it so the pencil would work.
@@Glee73 what are the considerations for choosing this over a simple laminated and marker combo? Genuinely wondering
@@karlisluste772pretty sure the markers smudge easier on laminate in the field.
Why no coverage of the war on hamas? As a CQB aficionado I thought it would get more coverage on this channel.
I have a few videos, but the age restriction and such is hard to navigate
Appreciate your reply
Definatly jungle fighters
Would I be right in guessing this guy is SAS?
No
Can you make more video about israel
React to fight
The NZ army, whole army, is only the size of a US BCT
Hey friend. How manu psyc meds you on right now ?
I guess you see there face when you sleep right friend
You fight in Ukranie?
Americans and new zealanders/commonwealth say tourniquet differently.
Hello reaction tunisian special force
Don't know why the Kiwi's have JTACS, they haven't got an air force. Kiwi's are Flightless birds after all 😂😂😂
Because kiwis work with other nations
Still a good point though, they ain't even in NATO. Bit of a pointless role.@@tanegurnick5071
@@tanegurnick5071 sorry I'm just pulling everyone's leg. There's a good few special forces guys from NZ who we in the UK have a huge amount of respect for. All my family live in NZ. I was over there for a month last year. Kia Ora
You are right , NZ has been defenceless for over 25yrs , when GovT wrapped our strike aircraft in gladwrap/plastic and sold them off , since then till now , no strike aircraft at all , rather weird as it was before GWoT , and carried on thru out that period .
@@chrisfarr9494 sadly even Jacinta's and Christopher's air force one (Boeing 757) doesn't even work most of the time.
Didn't NZ sell off their jets to the Aussies.
I know NZ used to have Sky Hawks up until 2001.
To be fair though, NZ is very remote and doesn't have beef with anyone, unlike the US and UK who are pretty much hated universally.
After real combat videos that we saw this looks like kindergarten toys.
Half of all that stuff in backpack is really unnecessary and probably will be loosed after first contact with enemy because of weight and huge package.
And second half of backpack in real situation probably should be with additional ammo, water, additional battery for night-vision and fucking drone that should be in that package.
Probably, possibly, could be, maybe, but he's the one doing it sooo...
its packed for the bush mate. drones barely work in there and resupply is hard. Only an american can look at the lessons of previous wars like vietnam, and thrown them away because “the next war wont be like that”. look at ukraine. no one trained for trench warfare now its a big thing
@@ladiezman1277 Exactly, suddenly there is a ton of training on assaulting trenches and operating drones. The new drones coming out has all been influenced by the war in Ukraine. Kiwi hard.
@@seanrota3359 the bro also doesnt understand that the guys a jtac not a grunt lol
