In the JP version of this game (Kaido Battle), the Kaido President is the original Emotional King before his defeat against Forever Knights (this game main protagonist). Also, he drives a yellow De Tomaso Pantera instead of Acura NSX NA2.
Thanks for the facts, De Tomaso definitely would be a cooler boss car imo

Yeah, seems hes apparently 18 at that time though its rumored according to the info. Not entirely sure how txr timeline is set out but I think his highway skyline days come after this i would think. But again this game is bad with translations to begin with lol... who knows.
@@KaidoSamurai I think TX3 is between Kaido Battle 2 and 3. But I could be wrong 🤔

@@RedzaMalaysianCrossover He must have sold his R34 after TXR3 because he uses his GDB in Import Tuner Challenge. According to ITC, he quit racing for a few years after his girlfriend died.
I remember playing this game when I was younger... One of the "Tricky's" or "Slasher's" (wasn't really either, but I considered him one) I distinctly remember is that yellow Fujitsubo Evo. I lost almost every race I went against him, and just decided to punt him into the hairpin to stop him...
Yeah, its the last guy in my video right? He is just ridiculous, think he has like rubber banding difficulty or something. Iirc he was just a regular appearance, wasn't actually labeled as anything.

the fujitsubo Evo is easily one of the best cars in the game to drive. problem is you cant use it for any kind of wager races iirc
Didn't know that, don't think I ever tried it after beating him. That race made me quite furious; not an easy opponent to beat.
I hate when those Slasher's intro changed in English version. It sounds wrong.
And the DK had to change to NSX due to regional copyright. So none of the hints/messages about him don't make sence
Yeah theres quite a bit of regional changes in this game, and not for the better.
