I've said it so many times, but this band is (to me) the perfect culmination of the prog rock and pop sensibilities that I grew up listening to and the extreme metal sound I've grown to love by myself. Truly unique stuff.
Yep! They're most unique band in existence! No other band can satisfy me when I need to hear some Vola. The combination of what works from the past and what works now comes together into the perfect package in Vola.
My god that guitar tone, the breakdown, and the keys solo all go sooooo hard.

Inmazes is now on my Top 5 List of Best albums of all time. Seriously guys, your music is pure magic and I don't think i'll ever grow tired of it. The melodic parts is so fckn beautiful and also the djent aspect of it. Fckn superb job guys, wow!
It is a hallmark of modern prog music, definitely.
This band needs to be so much bigger. 3 full albums and still not getting enough recognition. We need to be hitting reaction channels and tell people to check em out.

I know, right !!?? Drilling it. I love that sound. The way It carries as opposed to one smaller, tighter head, and poppy sounding. Which is good for some applications yet though.

This is so amazing. No other band sounds like VOLA. Incredible performance. I bought both the albums as soon as I saw this video. Fantastic guys.

I just can't get over the genuine smiles on Asger and Nicolai's faces in that intro. 100% deserved, this song is an absolute jam. And the ability of everyone present in the video is fearsome!

Adam is a perpetual motion machine. Both are rare talents to such a degree that I am amazed that Vola has had two Drummers of such a talent level, it's difficult enough to find one!
Maybe but I find their newest drummer way more interesting in his complex chops and giving a more refined sound to their tunes. Their old drummer was more into "raw energy".
Old drummer was raw emotion. New drummer is flowing emotion.
Do not sleep on Adam, hopefully you have heard the last two albums by now :)

Just found these guys a few days ago with Applause of a Distanc Crowd and INsTANTLY fell in love. Very Pain of Salvation-y at certain points on the new album. Having trouble getting into their first album, but I'm trying.
