Denzel alone is reason enough to give The Equalizer franchise the first place in this genre, not only because of his skills as a killer, which are very different from a John Wick going straight at all enemies and often have to do with clever planning, cunning traps, etc., but also because of the personal stories, his whole way of helping people and the like. The Taken series comes in second for me for similar reasons, then John Wick and then Nobody in my personal ranking, which is always a matter of personal taste. As for the end of your reaction, I would definitely suggest Robert De Niro's first work as a filmmaker "A Bronx Tale" (1993), which like Goodfellas is based on true events, but in my opinion is the better film of the two and you will surely like it.
No way bro!! I just finished this movie last night!! At the same time im sad that i never got watch both of these in theaters but proudi finally watched them! I would of had so much fun. I enjoyed this movie but not as much i loved the first one! I still give this an 8.5/10! I'm excited for the 3rd one!

Liam Neeson said in an interview that he was a huge fan of Denzel and this series. He said he watches them over and over.

This one was my favourite so far. One of the times the sequel was better than the first. Every fight scene was epic.
