My beloved wacky packages from my childhood. I tried so hard to collect them all. I finally had a complete set with the arrival of Band-Ache. And somehow I loved that cardboard gum!
I'm 53 and has these plastered all over my bedroom door ! I loved these things and still do. The late 60's/70's was the perfect time to grow up as a kid. Great memories.
Ditto here... Born in 65. Grew up in the late 60's/early 70's. Will be 59 next month. Collected Wacky Packages. I recall having the entire Series 2. Great Saturday morning cartoons in those years, too.
I had boxes and boxes of these probably 1000's think my mom tossed them with my 70's NHL sticker books hot wheels matchboxes and other valuable collectables. Thanks ma !, But I still love ya!
I'm 50 and i used to buy those stickers. Glad you had "Crust," my brand in 1973. Not sure if you had these two "Busted Finger" for Butterfinger candy bar. "Broom-O-Seltzer" for Bromo Seltzer (FDA took it off market in 1990s, as it put crystallizing minerals into the kidney.
I'm 51...these were a HUGE deal. I still remember kids bringing them to the cafeteria at school. Always kept as cards. It seemed a waste to use as stickers.
@@shanewhitefeather6298 That was on "Opening Day" so cool. That scene made Wacky history. The Bears later were badly beaten by the 2nd worst team in the league. I had the "Hired" Wacky shirt, very rare today.
i have all of 1-15 original series cards, series 1 x i need band ache and the four HTF cards, i have 1 card from series 16, boy are they expensive, i've got two posters from 74 and all of the new series wackys up until the monthly ones came out,$$$, i want nov 21 first....well happy collecting..

I still got most from the '79-'80 series and I see they are the same ones from the '73 series. Anyone know the true value of these really old ones from the '70s? I would think they worth at least a buck a piece now and some people who still have them selling them on eBay.
79-80 are numbered reruns not worth much, 1973 band ache paul maul 74 choke wagon bum chex and pupsi are a challenge as are some variation pulled cards,, big $$$, series 16, 1976 cards/ stickers; are expensive too. Band Ache series 1 psa $300.00?? plus
Mud! 11th Series 1974 sticker "what? me wallow?" depicts Alfred Neuman as a pig. Connects Wackys with Mad magazine which spoofed products before Topps started their line in 1967.
How are these cards identified? I have some that have dates from 1975-76. I have some with no dates that say Topps Chewing Gum Inc Printed In USA, and I have some that say **T.C.G PRTD in USA, etc. Thanks!
Just bought some Wacky pack cards off ebay and saw that they have changed quality to thinner , less bright cards , very disappointed . Wanted to know if you could tell me when this change occurred , which series are pre change etc. Thanks

Band Aid spoof was the hardest one to get and I stole one to trade with my cousin's friend
I stole some and almost went to jail. Wacky Packies were a beautiful kind of evil.
