Seeing people build this kind of stuff makes my builds feel horrible
i've def gotten better from watching all the youtubers content as well as doing the challenges myself. I built a treehouse the other day by combining & editing together two premade rooms frm gallery.

You should check out Kate Emerald on here, she does some incredible stuff with pools etc, and she has tutorials for a number of her tricks
i usually say im a pretty good builder in the sims and then i look in the gallery and im humbled immediately

No matter how good you get, there will always be people who have strengths that you don’t have.
I think you're likely still a great builder in your own way! :) Sometimes we feel less than we are when we start comparing ourselves to others, but don't let it stop you taking pride in your own builds.

this is exactly why I always download lots from the gallery instead of making my own. Some people are so talented at building while I don't know what I'm doing and I don't care enough to learn

These are always so fun!
The "Restaurant with House" makes me really wish that we could have multifunction lots so that you didn't have to own another lot to be your official "home lot." (It would also be nice so that we could have a functioning café on the same lot as a library, or a restaurant next to a bar, or...)
And the "Residence at the Bluffs" lot made me wish we could own multiple residential lots as we did in TS3. I miss that.
There is LittleMsSam's Mod for In Live in Buisness and I would also love to have them as lot trait. So maybe with a café lot trait, and a library lot trait, you can have a book café. Your sims wants to be a florist. Make it until their flat and sell flower arragments with the Store lot trait. It would be so cool !
@@elwynnquinslais2776 It's nice when there is a mod, but they do require a lot of maintenance. I would like it to be part of the game since then everyone could use it (including console users) and the mod maintenance would not be necessary.
I was so disappointed when highschool years had a thrift store/bubble tea shop and it was just one lot type instead of a system for combining lot types
Yes I miss the Sims 3 multiple ownership too.
Back then I played on computer. Now I play Sims 4 on Console and no mods or CC are allowed. Quite restricting. There is so much missing in Sims 4.
Can not wait for the new expansion.🙂
Watching the tour VOD on twitch and caught where you said that you should utilize museums more and I think I have a very funny idea. When the Bell/Potts legacies end, you could turn the last house they lived in (or your favorite house they lived in) into a “museum” with pictures of them, memorabilia, their graves, etc. and then place that lot into the new save for whatever you decide to play next. Imagine future sims going on a date to the Bell Memorial House💀

Yess check her other channel! It has 3 hour twitch streams where she tours builds and has a longer version of let’s plays/builds she has done! Worth a check
This was a shell tour she did a few days ago! You should check out her twitch every now and then to see if she’s touring buikdsy
Tip for those who'd like to see all the buildings on the gallery : do it by size lots. Like, start with selecting just the smallest, then go bigger and bigger. It's very effective, I've never had any "gallery-crash" with this technique :)

When I got the game, I downloaded a bunch of old shell challenges to practice building on because I found an empty lot difficult and needed a spring-board. It is a good way to start building something!
please do a winnie-legacy where stanley is the first one and each gen does a different rags to riches theme
the circle shell challenge quietly crying in the corner seeing all of its friend being featured on the channel
I love this kind of post, I'm also love touring like this, but you kind of like curated it for us. Believe me if I'm on build touring, it can take whole evening. This is not long, and obviously not boring. Also helps us find amazing fellow simmers to follow.
That riverside house is beyond beautiful oh my goodness so amazing. The designer is super talented!
They said this was their first time putting their landscaping ability to the test, so “talented” is definitely the right word!

The lake house was the first house I ever had in The Sims 3! I loved it so much
The industrial tiki bar gave outbanks vibes soo hard I loved it

Massively impressed by the people who managed to fit 3+ bedrooms in their builds. I only squeezed in two, and they were tiny!

the toothbrushes being with the paint is actually so accurate, i use old toothbrushes for painting all the time

I finished my first shell challenge with this one and had an amazing time. I built a ramen shop because I had been wanting to build one for a while and I think I want to go back and renovate it already 😅

I had so much fun with this shell… in fact, it’s literally a house I would play in. I just don’t do it for my house to be toured… I just want to make something my sim families would enjoy….
I'm actually super proud I recognized the gnome stamp on the floor at 27:00 from get to work's police career event. It's one of the evidence things you need to find when on a case. Only times I've seen it is when Plumbella did that series on the Get to work careers and in Clare Siobhan's NSB Rose gen

I LOVE a shell challenge - building them and watching them! I did a Brindleton Marketplace with this one - I never do new community space lots but I love Cats and Dogs and think it goes nicely with Eco Lifestyle, so I did I limited pack build. Loved it and will definitely play in it!

Yoooooo the creativity and talent if these summers are mind blowing. I thought that I had finally gotten the hang of building some nice places but you can forget it. This made me feel super inferior but yet inspired to improve
Definitely using the 3 P's in my builds, they seem so much like essentials! Might replace ponds with fountains in relevant builds.
This is my favorite sim series! Builds like these inspire me to play!

this shell was hard!! all these builds are so gorgeous. i ended up building with it just for fun, i ended up touching the walls *gasp*, but made a nice little house that works for what i needed it to do :) i like slightly altering shells when im too lazy to build a whole one

THE LITTLE LEAN-TO MADE OF STICKS IN THE CORNER OF THE LOT OF THE RIVERSIDE COTTAGE IS SO CUTE SHOUTOUT TO RUBBERDUCKY
It would be great if, in an unowned lot, you could summon a 'crash test dummy' sim to test if some things are useable, and to look around. I always worry with things like those bar stools pushed right against the wall if they can actually be used. Plus it would have been fun in the riverside cottage to see the effects rather than the blank white squares without having the faff of trying to move someone in
