  • Being old and lazy, having to unscrew and screw things in multiple times when fixing something feels like hard work. That's what I like about an electric screwdriver. But this one is "smart" it has upgradable firmware and has several modes and methods of operation. Let's check it out.
    This screwdriver kit was kindly supplied by Sequre for review, so if you'd like to check out the kit in more detail please consider using the following affiliate link: sequremall.com/products/elect...

    Place the bit inside along the top or bottom of the center hole where marked for the specified function desired and shake back and forth 10 or 12 times. Thanks for the review.

      @@CurryKittenI'll have to consider the price, but basically you sold me. The only electric driver tool that I have is a 25 year ole Black & Decker unit that I haven't used in many years. I have looked a few times but have never been inspired to buy one like this until now.

    Quite inventive, I like the torque capability. Very compact.

    Great review of a useful tool that's reasonably priced. I'd go for the kit if I didn't already have an electric screwdriver. Really helpful when you've got arthritis. Just wish they'd spend a tad more time on the user interface, like my plug in mains Sequre soldering iron, its ui is a bit wonky. Happy flying everyone. 🤓

      The UI is not that intuitive - I agree. I would seem that simply having a mod button would solve an awful lot

    Nice. Two questions, is it plastic or aluminum and what is the price

    Is it compatible with the iFixit bits, in size? Those are 4mm across the hex (3.9 measured).
    Great review! I’ve been holding off on an e-screwdriver till now.

      I don't have iFixit bits specifically, but I've got a few other screwdriver sets with 4mm bits, and they interchange without an issue

    Wow i like it.
    I brought a cheap one a while ago and on the 1st screw i used it on on a drone it burnt out as it didnt have a stop function if its ova torqued.
    might get my self one of these ones.
    I wonder wot voltage it is?

    • @CurryKitten
      @CurryKitten  Před 3 měsíci

      It's got a little 600mah battery in it, which isn't specified - but strikes me it's going to be a simple single cell, so working voltage between 3.8v and 4.2v perhaps with a regulator to step it up to 5v, or down to 3.3 ?

    Are those 1/4 bits hex like all the regular hexs

    • @CurryKitten
      @CurryKitten  Před 3 měsíci

      4mm, if you mean 1/4" that translates as 6.25mm. 6.25mm bits tend to be on the larger screwdrivers

    Can you set the torque in Nm, and have an immediate automatic stop, so basically against stripping threads and over tightening, have all screws same torque withouth thinking ?

    • @CurryKitten
      @CurryKitten  Před 3 měsíci

      You can't - but the firmware could be upgraded to do so, if Sequre decide to develop it that way

      that is the question, how to measure the torque is there a sensor? I assume could measure the RPM, current and voltage and compute torque? There are not many choices electric screwdrivers accurate Electronic Nm adjustable Cut Out, I would directly buy it.@@CurryKitten
