This is a great figure and some might feel it's too tall because Walter Kovacs (Rorschach) is actually short but in the comic, and I believe the film, he compensates for his height by wearing lifts in his shoes...so maybe that can be the excuse for the figure being tall
This thing is beautiful. I just wish it was a bit shorter, but I might still try to get one. I've wanted a good Rorschach for quite a while.

One of those instant pre orders for me. The design of Rorschach was always so fascinating and I guess a 3rd party company made a near perfect figure out of it. Well done!
Wow. Definitely going to find this guy. That head sculpt is so good they could do one with a prison jump suit on and it would still be recognizable. "You're locked in here with me!!!" I wonder how this scales with the DC Collectibles Doomsday Clock figures.

hey man sorry, I stood both figures next to each other, the filix one is shorter half a centimetre / 0.2 inches (I think). But he still works great in the doomsday set up imo!

It makes me so mad these are unofficial and hard to find/import figures. Such amazing quality. It's even more incredible it has EVERYTHING accesory-wise and the maskless headsculpt is as good as it is, considering it's almost a crime to NOT use the masked, iconic one.

3rd party 1/12 have been killing it for a few years. The same factories also make major brand stuff.
I had the same issue with the wrist pegs coming apart and it was a pain to get it back in. Thanks for the tip on how to switch them out, though I'm worried about one day breaking the pegs on them. That's when those pockets will come in REAL handy.
Also, a "The End is Nigh" sign would have been the perfect addition to convince people to display the unmasked head more. May try making my own one day for that very purpose.
Great figure !!! The sculpts were so good I picked up two so I could display with both masked and unmasked head. I hope they will do more Watchmen characters.

Smooth review, thanks a lot. I just came around to snatch one of these, and I feel way more comfortable with my purchase now. The DC Direct never really did it for me.
I have one as well and I absolutely love it. It’s one of my favorite figures in my collection next to the 1/12 Ahaeb Snake figure. I just wish he was an inch shorter seeing as Rorschach is a short guy but he can’t stand next to any other figure aside from the McFarlane DC Multiverse figures. Still though, he’s a great figure.
Rorschach's just slightly below average height if i recall correctly, he's supposed to be like 5'8 or 5'7.

I’m trying to hold off, but this is amazing.
I absolutely love this figure! They killed it and I am very happy that I received mine and it doesn’t disappoint. Literally I’d say almost as good as a hot toy even with accessories. My only problem is the wire for the belt seems to come out and get exposed very easily. Anyone else noticed that?

This looks awesome. Like a 6 inch work of art. I don't normally do third party stuff. But this year I've done that third party Leonardo and The Mask off of 5k Toys. We'll see where this leads.

Looks amazing! They coat, dare I say looks better than Mafex Gambit’s! Maybe it’s just the included waist belt, and I do love me some Gambit(favorite figure I have).
For even better panel/screen accuracy, turn up his lapels and crinkle his left epaulet a bit. The only problem then is the underside of the collar isn't weathered, so it looks a bit off from the back.
I would go into a custom spiral where I mold and cast soooo many heads a paint the faces of Rorschach's patterns!

Put a bit of floor polish or super glue on the end of the wires . no floppyness anymore mate. Reapply whenever worn down
wouldn't floor polish eventually crust off? And superglue leave that white residue?
Man. The attention to detail on this thing really smacks you in the face when you pop his collar and his left shoulder strap is missing the button and can be stood up the way it is in the comic. Sheeeeeesh.
Great stuff. I haven't bought a realistic 1/12 in a long time but this one might get my wallet open again.

One thing I just noticed, the strap on his left shoulder is missing the button, but then I watch some clips of the movie, he does miss that particular button.

Robo, Filix delivered. Minor design flaw aside. The overall execution is startling. I am tempted to get two so I can use the unmasked and rotate the three masked portraits. Damn I got to read the Watchmen again😃watch the movie too😉 it was great to see you geek out on something not star wars😄👍✌️
I’ve got dc direct watchmen movie one and the doomsday clock one that came out along with the dc collectibles dc essentials line and that was nice all be hindered with the jacket. But this guy probably benefits from being soft goods

This figure looks *amazing*! Sure, I love the property it comes from and Rorschach is a stand-out figure, so yeah, I'm biased, but man! This looks like an incredible piece of plastic!
Looks great, only real nitpicks for me is that I'd much prefer the head sculpt to be closer to the comic (but still real looking), rather than movie....and his left epaulet should have a broken button and sticking up!
The left strap on his shoulder actually does that. It is loose and you can stick it up.

despite it being.........play arts kai-ish (aka like 8-9 inches tall) the rorschach from play arts kai is pretty good if you don't mind everything being hard plastic.........although i admit the hat stays on better in this figure then it did for that one.

Such a hard choice for any of the heads. Almost unfair!
i love this but something about the jacket seems off to me. Like the fabric seems off, which is so weird because all of the other fabrics look AMAZING. Even though it isn't, it looks plastic-y from afar. Like the texture isn't visible enough.

Damtoys uses the same body and those wrist joints have caused me so much pain. The only downside to these great third party figures.
Really wish i had money to buy this, but build back better inflation is killing my wallet.

I hate this figure. Why would a toy company make an action figure with a face that depicts that one time my parents sat down with me to explain that "divorce doesn't mean we don't love you anymore" ?
