Great video, I wanted to get into prop making myself but didn‘t have any Idea where to start but with this community I‘ll surely find someone who can help me.
The helmet looks great as well and going through all that effort for a secret Santa is really amazing, the world needs more people like you guys who put a lot of work into gifts even though there were easier choices available.
Helmet turned out amazing! Anxious to see what Schankers built you as well! I really enjoy these they’re great. They bring me back to my 405th building days that just don’t have time for anymore. Someday I’ll finish the 1/2 printed chief armor in the garage.
I never knew about the 405th until I was already 5 years into cosplaying and I’m glad to be a part of the UK division

@@MasterTopHat Very true 🤣 the way I see it though, I'm in university right now and have had to take courses that are a total waste of time. And for every one of those bum courses I take, I could make 10 halo helmets for the same money. Of all the hobbies in the world this one is by no means the cheapest, but it is also by no means the most expensive. And If I can spend a bit of money to spend a few months making something I am really proud of, then that's money well spent in my opinion.
