This channel is mostly about making all sorts of fishing tackle; Jigs, Chatterbaits, Spinnerbaits, Plastic Baits. Airbrushing Crankbaits,....etc.

I’ve been using the weedless arky style jig with the flat eye…one snap ring to attach the chatter blade.
Great mold for sure. I use the other arky mold and do the same as I did here. The split ring gives different vibration for sure. I don't mind the 1 split ring but when you have to use 2 split rings I think ruins the action
@@ThatGuySkimpy I can believe 2 would ruin the action….I kinda wonder if one dampens the action. Hey skimpy you do anything with the ES frog? I’ve got the mold and haven’t used it much….however I’ve got a pond with a really good frog bite and been using hollow body frogs. Kinda wanting to put the ES frog bait to work…
@@AgronomistatIA nope one split ring works great and actually works better in some cases were standard chatterbaits are heavily used because they make a different sound. I catch just as many if not more fish on split ring attached blades even compared to the marketing hyped Jack Hammer...

Skimpy, does that wire form for the eye fit the 1/8 and 1/4 oz slots too?
Not sure about the 1/8 but it does the 1/4
Skimpy, what skirt collars do you use and how many tabs on the skirts? I have a hard time with the collars I been using melting or dry rotting. Great vid!
I use the skirt collars from Do It Molds. I usually use 2 tabs for a skirt. If I want bulkier I'll go 3 for like flipping jigs
Mr Skimpy , In your opinion witch bladed jig do you catch the most fish with ? The Arkie jig or the poison tail jig . Witch has the most action?
I like the poisontail. But to be honest, very similar action
Question on poison weedless jig mold and poison non weedless mold . First of all can both make a chatterbait ? If so witch one do you prefer? Would they both take the same SB hook ? And wire insert? Any help appreciated.
Both work pretty much the same and both work for chatterbaits. The only difference is if you use the weeless you will need to put a Teflon pin up to the head or you will get alot of excess lead. With the non weedless you won't have to. If that makes sense

I buy them off ebay. They come from China I think but they come pre bent. No complaints at all. Usually takes 2-4 weeks to get

I put a smooth round type bend in them . With the round bend in them they have extra strong vibration. Put them on my green pumpkin jig and caught 4 nice Bass on a highly pressurized pit with 90 degree water . Only lures I got bit on that day lol…..
