So for people confused and who can't find the torus knots, I think you need to install the additional meshes through the preferences tab. If I remember correctly

what addicional meshes?
For the torus knot, go to edit > preferences > add-on > search for extra mesh and enable it. Then save the preferences.

3:49 how to isolate control the sphere which are generated by particles?
Select the sphere, then press tab to go to edit mode. There you can control the sphere by scaling, rotating or moving it.
Uhhhh, where is the twisted torus? Is that an add-on cause I can't find it on my app...
Yes, it is an addon. You need to enable it in edit > preferences.
anyone else having problems with moving the spheres? I'm moving the main sphere, but the hair don't seem to be affected by that. What did I miss? :D
Select the main or big sphere, then tab for edit mode and try moving the sphere in different positions. You will see that the small spheres around the torus mesh are also moving.
1:15 how are you dragging the plane upwards after highlighting it?

but it becomes black and can't move it
Select the sphere in scene collection, then come to viewport, and try to rotate or move it!

Are you talking about the camera? If yes, then select CTRL+ALT+NUMPAD0 to align the camera to the view.
3:22 where did the UV sphere go ?
Hide the UV sphere, so it is not visible in the viewport.
why is my shader editor so different when I add a new node? I'm new, i can't find "specular"
The shader nodes, especially the principled bsdf shader looks quite different in blender 4.0 and previous blender versions. You just need to click the drop-down arrows in the shader.
@@Gettutorials123 I clicked every dop-down arrow and I swear it's not there lol, maybe it's something that i need to add on preferences?
In the principled bsdf shader, under specular there is IOR level. You can control the values from there. By default, it is set to 0.500

This will work in cycles render engine only.
Didnt work for me either : had to enable the Node Wrangler (Edit > Preferences > Add-Ons > (search for) Node Wrangler) and then the crl+t worked a delight ! (it's a mapping (generated => vector) and a Mapping (vector to vector) node btw ;)) Hope it helps !
