  • I do not own the copyrights to this! Here's me playing the classic by Lou Armstrong on a Mendini Tenor Sax. Im testing this sax out to see how easy it plays and in tune! Im really surprised and its super affordable!

@@XavierJordanMusic I have a Mendini euphonium, and with a few minor tweaks it also plays amazingly well. Like had to change the spit valve cork, stretch out the springs, replace the felts....

Hey great sound bro! Horn sounds pretty solid to me. I don't understand the backlash people give these to these saxophones. What kind of mouthpiece did you use for this track??

Thanks man! I’m using a Brilhart Hard Rubber 7* mouthpiece! I was really surprised. It fr was a good playing sax

These saxophones typically sound ok at first but develop a lot of problems in the long run due to cheap manufacturing. Then most techs won't repair them since they are cheap and poorly made.

@@ballpythonsarecool5437 yeah the main problem with these catalog saxaphones are weak metal and the pads could possibly wear out quicker. If you are a pro or intermediate you could probably make it last alot longer.

If you don’t mind me asking, which color/finish was this of the sax? Is this just the normal gold finish or something else?

Hey! It’s the regular gold lacquer
