Don't listen with too much attention to this guy! He speaks to please the interlocutor. UN is not pushing the climate agenda the way it should, because of the dominance of the US.
The subject of the day is BRICS expansion and he managed to switch the orientation of the interview. The journalist seems to have followed with questions on Ukraine and cereals. The grain convention did not benefit to Africa and he escaped the issue.
The main question in such circumstance should be about the new multipolar world, and the decrease of US hegemony.
It also sucks because we as western tax payers have to pay for all of it.

The problem in Africa is that the majority of the leaders go into politics and governments to get "rich". If one African country is down then the whole continent is down. We should put all our differences aside and get together for the development of our continent, or rather we should embrace our differences and accept that we're all human beings and love each other, learn to live together in peace, it's a big work, but it is worth giving it a shot.

Developed countries do not have the money to pay not only their own bills, but bills of the South. The South, thru BRICS, hopefully will be able to pay their own bills. The North has been paying bills for other countries for 75 years, that means taxpayers have not only worked for themselves but for people all over the world. It is time for other countries to cut their dependence on the North. BRICS may help do that! Climate change caused by people, could be slowed without spending trillions of dollars. Don’t use electricity, don’t buy tv’s, cell phones, automobiles, don’t build infrastructure. Stop buying things. That would do it!
