Thanks Volclus. As a Keres Defense player, I often transpose into the Nimzo if my opponent plays a favorable line for black, like the Samisch. This will help bolster my own analysis into my openinga.

in the normal line c6 is a bit too slow you have to go c5 and d5 immediately unless white will get pawn e4 alot, after c5 retraeting your bishop to e7 is fine.

dxc5 Bxc5 (if Bg5 there is Bxf2+ Kxf2 and Ng4+ regaining the piece with interest) Nf3 b6 (now that they played Nf3 you want to control e4 and there won’t be any f3 ideas anymore) Bg5 and Bb7.
