Full time travel Pros and Cons (After two years of world travel ) Ep 66 Going Walkabout

After traveling full time for two years, we have compiled the pros and cons of this nomadic life. We are a retired couple , having visited Türkiye, Spain, Italy, England, Malta , Mexico and Tunisia, we felt it might be helpful to impart some of our observations on living longer term in foreign countries.

Con #5 - Getting sick (or injured) while traveling is the worst, especially in a foreign country. I planned to spend 2 months in Asia, got seriously ill the first week and had to cancel the rest of the trip, change my flight and come back to the US after only a couple of weeks. It didn't make sense to waste money if I didn't feel well enough to even leave the apartment. And finding a medical clinic or going to the hospital for treatment is an adventure I'd rather not have. But hey, life happens wherever you may be!
