Agree. Retired two months ago, and just trying to get things wrapped up so I can travel. I was fortunate to have a job that allowed me to travel most of my life for work and pleasure. I've been to 96 countries. The love of travel has not diminished, but only increased over my lifetime. I should have retired earlier. I had a job that I absolutely loved. I'm only realizing now that I stuck with it too long, not because I needed the money but because it was my identity. It was who I was. Yes, we age faster than we think. Wasn't I 30 just yesterday? Where have the years gone? Good points all around.
Lovely feedback. I had the same issue with my job, finding my identity out of work has been difficult for me however I feel I’m getting there. In a way, it’s kind of fun getting to know a whole new part of yourself. Keep in touch.

Great tips Sue! I definitely know what you mean about Spanish. I’ve been taking lessons for about three and a half years and I’m nowhere close to being fluent. Necesito practicar contigo!
Hi boss! Great "seeing" you on this channel. Good info. I'm 6 mo. in now and loving it. I need to de-clutter, but have tackled the rest as mission. My wife is still working, so it's a bit easier on me at this point, but doing volunteer work, playing a "ton" of pickleball, and picking up golf (real beginner). I look forward to your next post.
Great tips! Establishing a routine is crucial. Your days are broken up differently from "work during the day/relax at night." Now, if I could just convince all my friends who are afraid to take the leap to just do it!!😄
Hello, I'm new to your channel I can relate to your stories. I've been a CZcamsr for awhile now and you are so right about so much information out there. it's fantastic .. my plan is to retire this year at the end of the year and do some traveling at the beginning of next year that's my plan. Happy and safe traveling to you! I'll keep watching and learning thanks for being so transparent and for the great ideas and tips. I just downloaded 2 of the apps you mentioned thanks

The 3 stages of travel retirement: your “go-go” years, your “slow-go” years and your “no-go” years.
