I always wish to read about seerah alhammadulillah my son forwarded me dr yasir qadhi seerah series. الحمدللہ I started this Yr 2021.i reached 33 .انشاء اللہ I will complete it.
You make it so much easy and enjoyable. When I am listening I am feeling that I my with in that time and increasing my love to prophet.

Almost every day listen this when I go to bed for more than 6 year from the beginning to end the whole siraah

Episode 33 Notes:
The Treaty of Medina
The Treaty of Medina was five pages long. This Treaty stated that each tribe has to deal with its own issues. This means that the Jews and Muslims have their own laws that they must follow. The Jews gained semi independence. It also stated that all of the Muslims will unite against injustice from any side. This Treaty also enabled the Muslims to give anyone protection to live in Medina. This Treaty stated that the Jewish Tribes are all one Ummah that coexists alongside the Muslim Ummah. This Treaty also stated that the Jews, Arab Pagans and Muslims have an obligation to protect one another from any external enemy that attacks Medina. This Treaty also stated that no one can leave Medina, without the permission of the Prophet SAW. Furthermore, the Treaty stated that any Jew who converts to Islam, will be protected by the Muslims. This Treaty stated that the Arab Pagans and the Jews must remain neutral in relation to the Qurayshi Pagans. Furthermore, this Treaty stated that traitors to Medina will be killed. Lastly, the Treaty stated that any internal issues between Muslims and Jews would be mediated by the Prophet SAW.
Fun Trivia fact: The Banu Aws, the Banu Khazraj as well as the three Jewish tribes, all contained dozens of smaller tribes.
Fun Trivia fact: The Treaty of Medina essentially shows that the Prophet SAW was the de-facto leader of Medina.
Fun Trivia fact: Arab Mushrikoon still existed in Medina even when the Prophet SAW was there. It was only after the Battle of Badr that they all converted to Islam.
Fun Trivia fact: According to the Shariah, the Ahl Al Kitab and Zoroastrians can live within the Arabian Peninsula. But, there is a controversy amongst the Madhabs when it comes to Pagans. The Hanafi’s permit Idol worshippers to live in Islamic lands outside of the Arabian Peninsula. Historically, all faiths were tolerated outside of the Arabian Peninsula.
Fun Trivia fact: Zoroastrians are treated like Ahle Kitab in an Islamic State and this is because Umar RA demanded the Muslim armies do this when they conquered Persia.
Fun Trivia fact: The early Shariah allowed religious freedoms for Non-Muslims to a certain extent. So for example, preaching wasn’t allowed and nor was blasphemy in public. Also, other faiths can only practice in their own places of worship, not in public, within an Islamic State.
Fun Trivia fact: The term Ummah comes from the word Umm which means mother. This is because the bonds of the Ummah run so deep that, they might as well just have one mother.
Fun Trivia fact: The Hanafi’s are the only Madhab who believe that, Non-Muslims can enter all Masjids including Makkah and Medina. The other three madhabs believe that Non-Muslims cant enter Makkah or Medina.

Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, these are my notes on Sheikh Yasir Qadhi’s Seerah series.
Please note: I HIGHLY recommend that you all watch YQ’s Seerah series, as I DON’T cover every single detail the Sheikh mentions. I made these notes primarily for myself but, decided my fellow brothers and sisters may benefit from them too. I no doubt will have made mistakes in my notes. All the good in these notes is from Allah SWT and all the mistakes are from myself. But, I was very meticulous and tried my best to make sure everything is accurate as the Sheikh mentions it.
You also will see I have added “Fun Trivia facts” under each of my notes. These FTFs are information YQ said that was off topic or not necessary to include in my notes for the episode. But, they were still worth mentioning hence the inclusion as FTFs. FTFs aren’t always HAPPY pieces of information. Sometimes they are very sad trivia. I just want to say that FTF is the phrase I used for them all collectively when making the notes.
One thing I wanted to do but am too lazy to do is, maybe someone could take the FTFs from under each “Episode” and make an Islamic reminder/information IG/TikTok account and post them daily or something. Could be a great form of Sadaqah Jaariyah.

39:00 Some correction. Arius did believe in the trinity. It was just a bit different from the mainstream trinity at the time. Also, Constantine did not persecute other Christians. He didn't even establish Christianity as the state religion.
Actually the whole segment about Arius is wrong here. He eventually went back to Rome and died there. Constantine in his deathbed accepted Arianism.

Beliau Salallahualaihiwasallam kekasih Allah yang kemuliaan dan kebijaksanaannya terlihat dari kebijakan yang dibuat. Kaum muslimin punya hukum sendiri, Jews punya hukum sendiri. Ternyata toleransi dalam konstitusi bernegara juga bisa dipelajari lewat seerah ini. Jadi saat ada kejahatan dalam tubuh kaum Muslimin yang tidak sampai merugikan pihak jews, maka proses hukumnya sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku dalam lingkup kaum muslimin. Dan jika ada kejahatan yang dilakukan seorang yahudi dan kejahatan yang dilakukan tidak sampai merugikan kaum Muslimin, kejahatannya hanya dalam lingkup kaumnya sendiri maka hukum yang diberikan sesuai dengan hukum yang kaum jews buat sendiri.Jika ada ancaman dari luar atau dari dalam yang dapat merugikan kedua belah pihak maka kasus tersebut diselesaikan bersama.
