From what I have heard Australia can be quite strict when coming to health issues. As an immigrant on a temporary visa you have to apply and maintain a medical aid so maybe that might mitigate some of the issues with managed illnesses. I’m saying that, when coming to HIV Australia is very very strict reason being that they want to eradicate the virus completely. They have very low numbers of people living with the virus and their infection rate is very low compared to many countries. So it might be difficult for people living with the virus to enter the country which is quite sad
